Traveled as a coupleWritten January 1, 2020

Loved this place . Only facility is at lighthouse IF cafe open - but worth a swim in clear waters of sea lagoons. Amazing fish.

Long drive but well worth it - would return!

Wonderful spot for a day in the lagoons watching water sport. On a warm day the water is bright turquoise and very beautiful, my favourite spot besides Cofete, which is further south. Very close to the lighthouse so easy to find. These photos added by others on this thread actually indicate further along the road in another village, not as pretty, on the way to Corralajo via the coast route, where there are a family of dogs in a yard just adorable creatures.
The actual beach area is among sand dunes and shallow lagoons ideal for children, the sand being almost white and very soft to drive on. Take care in a hire car as you won't be insured to drive if a problem cropped up.although people do drive along them, extreme care is needed as the road is very lumpy and soft with laying sand. There are free car parks at the entrance.
We had an occasion to help a car out of the dunes by packing the front tyres with rocks for a bit of purchase. It is easy to sink into the sand so only use the actual sand track with care.
Certainly a must see beach, as it the rockier light house one too.
