First visit since Hurricane Maria and this place needs a lot of TLC. There use to be like five restaurants that you could get through boat but now there is only one operating. The place looks a bit depressing. Even if you are not eating...More

This is one of the biggest sources of water in the island. You can take a taxi boat around the lake which is surrounded by mountains.

This review is solely for the ferry ride, not the restaurant visit. Through a series of twists and turns, carefully follow the signs, you will arrive to the lake. Plenty of parking and a shirt wait time for the ferry. The cost is 2$ about...More

The Dos Bocas Lake is such a great trip. You drive to the lake and park in the ample parking lot. Then just go to the water's edge and there will be a boat or a few, all the 'ferry' to specific restaurants. Choose any,...More

It's an amazing spot in Puerto Rico. Not so advertised but a "must go" if you want to see more than beaches. Good food in small restaurants with amazing views from the top. Great roadtrip for families with children.

Dos Bocas on a weekday (1 Replies)
Hello all :) Wondering if anyone knows if you would be able to take a trip around lake Dos Bocas on a Tuesday or Wednesday? My info is not up to date but I recall reading that there is a free boat and also taxis? I also recall seeing that some days the boat does not go out, would we be able to hire a water taxi on those days, would the restaurants be open? Any information is appreciated, thanks!

Call the restaurants. They sponsor the boat.
