The owner has been on the island for 15 years, is french and I think been in the dive business the whole time. He knows the island and where the best dives are - caves, canyons, dolphins. He's got a great boat - it's a pontoon type dive boat - shaped like a regular dive boat but a pontoon. Very cool! And it flies over the water it's so light. Just the boat ride was great fun. Talk to Jean Michele (owner) and he'll hook you up with a great experience.

Great dive company. Everyone works together like they are a family. The team is experienced and they have a nice boat. Dive shop was very open to our request and allowed us to do a dive that per our request. Fun and friendly. Worth the trek out to the other side of the island if you are coming in from a cruise. Email them and they will help you get the most out of your dives in St. Maarten.

I dove here last year as a beginner, and came back to get my Open Water Diver certification. Jean Michel, the owner and my personal dive instructor, was amazing! He took the time to teach my what I need to learn and was very patient when I did not complete things right away. Scuba Zen took my on a four day adventure I will never forget! I can't wait to go back!

Booked my dive trip at the Radisson Blu for Scuba Zen and made a 2 tanks dive. At the sight we made the dive but the boat was taking water, then the engine stopped working and we started to sink
I am a level 1 diver and will probably never dive again

diving another group last 4 years but they were disorganized this year so we sought out scuba zen. nathalie and jean-michel were superb. our new dive buddies in st maarten. dr. chuck and patricia vogel----boca raton , fla.

I wanted to discover underwater treasures of Sint Maarten island and I was not disapointed : sea turtles, nurse sharks, coral gardens and reefs, ship wrecks ... all beautiful and in warm water (although there were waves at that time due to hurricane season)! Jean-Michel and Nathalie are very welcoming and helpful. Always a joke or a nice piece of advice. Nice confortable dive boat next to the diving shop and - what a luxury ! - no need to carry your tank, it's already stored on the boat and that's where you'll leave it empty after the dive. I trained for my CMAS 2* level with Scuba Zen team and all dives were very enjoyable. Both french and english spoken.

I decided to add a couple of dives to a vacation nearby. The booking was very easy and the staff were extremely welcoming and eager to get me set up.
Twenty min rhib ride to the first site was rewarded with a reef shark as soon as we bottomed followed by 3 turtles and a spotted ray. 3 more sharks rounded out the dive and a lobster that could have fed four.
A quick ride to the second site yielded more turtles and lobster and a school of big barracuda couldnt keep track of them all at once.
Olivia and Charlotte were very friendly and made for a most successful morning of diving, thanks again.
I highly recommend this shop and will dive here again

I had a chance to dive (plongee) with Scuba Zen on Oct 26 .They truly are a professional group .The shop is easily located right across from the Riu in Anse Marcel marina.The dive masters are friendly and helpfull and do speak good English . We dove (plonged) Isle Tintamaare a real nice dive site . The equipment they use are very good standard so no worries there. So if your looking for a dive operation in St Marteen/Martin look to Scuba Zen..I especially want to thank Juliet (hopefully that's her name) she is usually is working the office she is amazing and a true ambassador thank you for all your help.

I went diving with Scuba Zen last week of March. Dispite rough sea and some mechanical issues, Jean-Michel and his team kept on smiling and being positive. They managed to find solutions and dive sites that would limit the effect of sea condition.
As a somewhat experience diver, I was quite happy that they didn't nurse me and let me do my things, all within standards of course. They were well organized and run a very well oiled organisation.
Thanks to Jean-Michel, Jean-Jean, Philippe, Axel, Cé and the other crew members!

Thanks to all the staff at Scuba Zen. I had a great week of diving. Their organization worked smoothly and was very safety conscious. I haven't been diving in 8 years and the first "Refresher Dive" was a good review for me and should be a requirement for all who haven’t gone in the past year. The remaining dives were a bit more relaxing as I enjoyed the dive master’s tour of the reefs, wreck & numerous and varied fish, sharks, sting rays, turtles & eels. The morning of diving followed by an afternoon on Tintamarre Island was as good as it gets !

Bonjour, je serai à Saint Martin à partir du 12 mars et cela pour une durée de deux semaine et souhaiterais effectuer mon open water. Ayant vu des bons commentaires sur votre centre je voulais savoir si cela serai envisageable chez et si oui si c’est possible de m’envoyer plus d’information technique (prix, temps nécessaire etc). Meilleures salutations
