I was lucky enough to get permission to visit this part of the Bidar fort. The designs are esquisite. Wall panels, wood works are worth mentioning. But alas the visitors don't respect the beauty and hence the authorities are forced to seal it.

One of the most beautiful combination of Indo Saracen indoor architecture thst I have seen , with the turquoise tiles, the carved wooden door frames , and those with mother of pearl inlay

Lucky enough to visit this place. Paintings almost vanished. Can see here and there. Wooden carvings on pillars and roof made an impression.

This is arguably the most important element in Bidar fort and I have seen it. However, it is currently closed for restoration and although we tried to negotiate entry, we were not successful.

Rangin Mahal was closed for renovation when we visited (24th Oct, 2015). Ragin Mahal is in the premises of Bidar Fort itself. Also, no guides were available as they were all undergoing training.

Deccan architecture of the Bahmani sultans is very different from the Mughal architecture. They are much more simple, more functional and less ornate. The minimal decorations are done such that they stand out.
