This was a visit I will remember forever so Beautiful but a place of rest for the soldiers some of whom have no names, the whole area is kept meticulous and serene but to see all the graves makes a person distraught at the loss of all those your and brave men, we are going back next year

As a Canadian, I grew up hearing and reading the stories of Canada's role in WW1. Of course Vimy Ridge and the Somme quickly come to mind but then so does Passchendaele (also called the Third Battle of Ypres). Located in the village of Passchendaele, overlooking farm fields on one side, looking up to the village church and situated on Canadalaan is a beautiful but simple Memorial. A gentle reminder of those who came and went and those who never left.

A fitting and respectful monument to the all Canadians who lost their lives during WW1. The tour guide was very respectful and informative while we visited here.

Nice peaceful place commemorating Canadian contributions to ww1. Great views of surrounding areas. Has a nice touch with all the maple trees surrounding the monument.
