Not much to see, no grave stones no trenches, the scars of war long gone. In a strange way its perfect. You stand there and remember the horrors and think was it really here?

Another simple memorial, a stone block like the others, to remember those who fought and died here during WWI.

Its a very tranquil and peaceful place, a simple tribute to the brave soldiers from Canada who gave their lives. The Canada gate just outside the main memorial along with the footprints in the wood planks, speaks such volumes. There is also a nearby memorial...More

A must see for anyone interested in Canadian War history. The location of one of the most historic battles in Canadian Military history. Beautiful and moving.

Another great stop for any history buff. We were especially moved when several Canadians placed poppies they had brought with them on the memorial. The Brooding Soldier monument is especially poignant.

This is a lovely and spacious memorial to all those Canadian troops who fell during WW1. The lovely views looking out over the slopes, the position is apt - this high ground was fiercely fought over, with significant loss of life. Come and reflect.
