The Ralong monastry or Palchen Chosling monastry is located on the way to Borong from Ravangla and is at a distance of about 10 Kms from Ravangla. It is beautiful monastry and we saw lamas practicing their traditional dance for an upcoming occasion.

This situated outside Gangtok. On different hill. Very big monastery. It's actually a old college for monks. Amazing view of Gangtok from this monastery top. Need to have ID proof for entry.

This place is roughly a 40 minutes drive from Ravangla. Like all other monasteries this place is also very peaceful and clean. Situated far away in the jungle makes it even more charming to visit.
