Not so many sightseeing in Polotsk but it's really interested and needed for visiting. Old frescoes of Byzantine style impressed me. Unfortunately repairing in the church didn't give me possibility full enjoy of them.

Please arrange guide for this place from local nuns - they know history very well and can take you around. That takes around one hour - and you have filled several empty pages in your head with real history.

Absolutely marvelous place to sort out your thoughts and find peace for your soul. There is no other place on earth where you'd find such serenity. At the same time it's a valuable place for historians. A must-see place in Belarus
