One of my favorite shopping mall and best mall in howrah. I visited several times for either shopping or movie. Many brands are there. Food court is good. There are many food counter, recently added Absolute Berbeque's restaurant. If you comes from howrah station you can avail toto from railway museum which is cheaper than cab.

Visited this mall for a birthday party organized in the Mainland China outlet. The mall is pretty big with a huge food court. Many play zones available for kids. Good outing

Avani is situated in Howrah just near the new howrah bridge. Its a quaint little mall with a lot of average brands. There is a bland little foodcourt with options like : pizza hut , mcDonalds , wow Momos , keventers etc.

I am a 30 year old woman. I was sitting at the food court alone, wearing a salwar kameez, with one leg over the other with a little gap between my legs. The security guard told me, 'Sit with your leg down, there is something called etiquette'. This made me realize(apart from the fact that he was disrespectful) that security guards at Treat are so frustrated with their jobs that they feel useless and powerless most of the time. Thinking that he had the right to decide the posture of a woman, and showing his thinking to me, made him feel powerful. That gave him satisfaction. The Avani Mall should have some staff entertainment program so that you can make an effort to reduce these incidents. Thank you! Next time I visit, I will again sit in the exact same posture and I should not see any security guard give me lecture about etiquette. HIS ACTION, RATHER THAN MY POSTURE SHOWED LACK OF ETIQUETTE.

I could have rated this mall excellent, but for the quality of crowd it pulls !

Living in a democratic society, you cant have control of the quality of people thronging these malls nowadays. So if you can keep a blind eye to your surroundings, then it becomes ok,otherwise you would be better at your own home !! This is simply my own view

The mall is huge with adequate basement and sub-basement car parking. The food court is situated on the 3rd floor. I have been to this mall on three occasions before - 1st occasion was to catch a 3D movie at PVR, 2nd and this time 3rd occasion was just to visit the mall for some time-spending with my family, as well as good quality food

The McDonalds at the food court has more than adequate staff but always clueless about people's orders, and there is always a backlog. I guess the Manager is a lady and utterly incompetent. They have 2 queues , one is for card payment and the other is for cash payment. They should have accepted cards at all their queues, especially after the Demonetization drive in India, since early November 2016.

Bathrooms are fairly clean. Car parking is more or less hassle free although gets filled up fast on weekends. Food Court is huge and you have to buy a food court card to buy food from any shop. Except McDonalds and Quality Swirls icecream shop. Why don't they accept food court cards ?? Manager of the Mall, care to explain , or you are too busy to answer visitor's queries like this ?!

There are kid's play zones as well, but the ball pool is dirty, the trampoline looks unsafe !
Overall, its a very good mall, for spending some time with your family/partner, if you are in the vicinity

Lots of cafes, 'big bizarre' sells a lot of electronics, huge food court and many popular chain stores. Cafes are a great place for working although do not expect any wifi so bring a wifi stick or vodafone cellular hotspot from your smartphone. I recommend bringing headphones or earphones if working here for a long time, the panpipe/flute music playing on repeat over the mall speakers gets annoying...fast.

(visit vodafone retail store to purchase 3G simcard and see if you phone has capability to share internet data like a wifi router)

The mall is situated near Kajipara area in Shibpur, Howrah. It is very conveniently located and can be easily accessed from Kolkata via Second Hooghly bridge and via foreshore road if your coming from Howrah bridge. The mall boasts many classic branded shops, has a big bazar outlet, PVR and of course a food court.

The mall also boasts a kids play area and parking facility is also available.

One of the best mall where we feel at home. It's food court is the largest and we always enjoyed to have food. Total mall is well maintained and spacious where we spend valuable time by shopping.
