It's a bit of a walk down the last part of the track to get there but well worth the effort. Once at the pool it's deep enough for jumping in from the rocks and adults and children alike love it. I would definitely recommend a visit here. Not for those that can't swim and you need to be able to clamber over the rocks to get there.

This was a stunning trip. If you drive a 4WD, you can easily do this yourself without a guide. Follow the signs up to the last sign where you can’t drive further; there’s a little parking spot (for 1 or 2 cars). From there it’s a 10-15 min hike which is already stunning. It’s a little challenging (you have to cross the river), but again you’ll see a sign so easy to find. As long as you don’t have physical challenges, you’ll be fine (we brought our 1,5yr old in a carrier on my husband’s back). The jump into the pool is a little scary but pretty cool. It’s deep, so safe, provided you can swim a bit 😉 There are also plenty of shallow spots to enjoy the wonderfully cool water (it’s so fresh you can drink it!) if you’re not enough of a dare devil (or for the little ones :)). We had the place to ourselves and it was just gorgeous. Recommended!

After a 6.8 km hike of section 13 of the Waitukubuli Trail, this was the perfect place to rest our weary bones. Definitely find a local guide to bring you as it is off the beaten path (try Tom at Wanderlust Caribben). After a short hike down to the river cross a stream to find the pool. The water is great, the waterfall is strong and the jump is breathtaking! Make sure you partake in it all.

Not easy to get to but well worth the trek! Such a beautiful area with some awesome places to jump in... if you are brave enough.

The quiet spot is not too hard to find. We were able to drive and park fairly close to the small falls, had a small hike down to them, about a quarter of a mile There is a nice little pool to soak and or swim in, and the water is COOL and refreshing. There are NO buildings around and you are in the middle of the jungle. The place probably hasnt changed any in the last thousand years. After visiting Chaudiere, a local in the nearby town of Calibishie related a story to me of how he one time encountered a twelve foot long Boa snake at the falls. He killed it with his machete. Great...,so the next time I go there, even though it's a beautiful spot, I will always be looking around for that Boa's friend!
