Such a good set up of theatres of different sizes and formats for performances of many sizes. Good ticketing and bar areas. Lots of booster cushions for kids. Need more restaurants close to the entry.

Thanks so much for your wonderful review! We are very proud to be a venue that has a lot to offer at different scales! Hopefully with the developments happening throughout Parramatta, there will be even more wonderful restaurants to choose from.

Had the pleasure of seeing Edwyn Collins at the Lennox Theatre, part of the Riverside complex in Parramatta, in mid January. The venue was hosting several acts during the Sydney Festival. The Lennox Theatre is a fantastic venue with capacity for approximately 250 people. It is quite steep from a seating perspective which means there isn't a bad seat in the house. Small tables for four with table decorations provided the intimacy and the acoustics were far better than most larger venues. The bar prices were reasonable and you could take your drink, albeit in a plastic cup, into the Lennox. Not far from public transport and plenty of nearby streets to park should you wish to drive. It would be nice to think that more international acts might consider the Riverside in future to give those in the Western suburbs of Sydney more of an opportunity.

We have been several times now to Riverside Parramatta & each time has been a great experience, staff are friendly, Packimen Productions are fantastic & affordable. The shows we've seen by this Production Company are of the highest standard, comparable to more expensive productions held in major cities. The sets are amazing. Our only criticism would be the toilet line-up & parking but that is the same at all theatres !
Highly recommend this theatre for affordable high class entertainment.

Wonderful to see talented actors taking the stage and skillfully presenting a fast flowing repertoire of skits and musical items, lampooning current political characters.
Much appreciated and full of laughs for the aud7.

This is a great theatre, its exactly what the area needed. Great performances, great seating no matter where you sit, you can still see the stage. Nice Customer service team.

As locals, we love the convenience of this theatre and it's rich selection of multicultural Australian plays, comedies, concerts and events. The theatre we mostly go to is intimate with a great atmosphere and we have enjoyed the events thoroughly. Parking is convenient a short walk away, with plenty of interesting restaurants and cafes very close.

Went with family and friends as a treat for my birthday. Saw Cirque Eloize. This was a great show for all ages and pleasantly surprising. Facilities are good and staff are very organised and friendly. While we waited for the show we watched the aerialized traing going on for the very young kids. The theatre has parking validation when using the Erby place parking facility. See the reception desk. Well situated in Parramatta with plenty of cafes and restaurants to tempt your pallette. Will watch out for more great events.

We have been to this Theatre many times and it is always a delight. Every seat has great views and in the smaller theatres the audience is quite close to the performance. It doesn't feel cramped and is rather comfortable too. There are lots of bathrooms and a couple of bars. Parking is either out the front if you're lucky or in a nearby carpark where you get it cheaper with validation. The booking office has a handy way of booking for groups where they will hold a certain number of tickets till one month before the performance when they require full payment for the required number of tickets.

loved the show and meeting some of the cast, would have been nice if there were keepsake to buy. If you can get a package deal it is worth it.

The riverside has 2 theatres, a larger one which seats 400+ and a smaller one which seats 200. There is a bar and a enclosed courtyard which forms part of the foyer - this is great for the kids to run around in before and after a show. There are a variety of shows run here, from mainstream musicals (west side story is currently playing) to community theatre - they also seem to host lots of end of year dance school concerts! The best thing is that it's a very quick stroll to the restaurants on church street. If you park at Ebly street car park, get your ticket validated at the box office for $5 parking.
