It is possible to park just half an hour away, but the long way to the beach has is magnifcent with lots of seaview. The beach itself is spectacular with the surrounding mountains above and the open, smarald mighy... More

The beach is really amazing, distant from the Mallorca tourists and crowds. The waves are awesome, water is cristal clear and the sand is made of unique stones. The only risky part is getting there. I would not advise people in "beach shoes" or with a lot of belongings. It is almost like a little rock climbing but definately worth... More

PIcture postcard setting with azure blue water in a tiny cove. You have to walk/hike a good 40 mins to get there and it's not well signposted. Wouldn't suggest very young or old as little tricky clambering over rocks. Mostly Spanish there but would suggest going before 2pm before most people arrive, much quieter as the cove is not big.... The hotel receptionists and the taxi driver all gave us the same amazed look when we said that we were planning a walk in to Playa Coll Baix. Family with teenagers, sporty and relatively fit. None the less, "Crazy tourists! Why not just take the boat?". We got a taxi to Mal Pas, and not disheartened and with some trepidation,... More

I have decided to go on a solo trip, just to relax my mind. I stayed in Iberostar Alcudia Park and the friendly hotel crew have suggested this beach, and I decided to walk to it. I walked all the way from hotel (I am a trained hiker) it took me 2 hours and 20 minutes to arrive. There is... More

This beach was one of the most looked forward to parts of the trip and when we got there it did not disappoint. However, the route of hiking into this beach is not for everyone. From our hotel in Port d'alcudia google maps said this was a 8km (roughly 2 hour) walk. Being very fit and active, we were excited... More

Last year we traveled there by Boat on an excursion, we had a really great time snorkling here. I wish we had more time to have stayed at this extremely isolated and romantic cala beach setting.

A bit of a hike to get to, but the views and water are well worth the trip! It is a natural beach, so the sand is course (a mix of small stones and sand), but the water is crystal clear.

Coll Baix is the best beach I have ever been to! This is mainly because it is located in an isolated area where the last 500m can only be accessed by foot - hiking and climbing over the rocks. Of course, if you rent a boat, you can anchor in the bay. Secondly it has a spectacular views during the... More
