A Long, Hot Day at the Beach.
Jul 2021
By the time you reach the beach you will regret ever having read the glowing reviews. I caught a taxi there, and, of course, no taxi driver here ever wants to go off-road. He dropped me about a mile and half from the path (next to the Museo). I walked along the long and dusty road, eventually reaching the long and dusty path, which got steeper the closer to the beach I got. Half an hour later, and the worst part of the route was in front of me: 300 yds of scrambling over slippery rocks to reach the actual beach. By the time I got there with all the gear necessary for a simple day out I was exhausted. A few hours later and it was time to leave. Why I brought snorkelling gear I'll never know: there's nothing to see. As for the return journey, the path is difficult to find on the way up, and I got lost, meaning I had to walk through brush to find the path again. If you insist on going there, don't take any gear except enough bottled water and food for the whole day, and a towel.

Great by boat for snorkeling
May 2021 • Family
We rented a boat and had a blast to swim, relax and snorkel there. Lots fish and crystal clear water, little waves. Beware the sun disappears early due to mountain, so arrive no later than 2-4p.m. depending on a month of the year.

Relaxing Beach Break
Oct 2020
We did a hiking circuit from Alcuding to Playa Coll Baix to La Talaia then back to Alcudia vi Ermita de la Victoria. All previous comments of how beautiful this beach was did not do it justice, as it was even better when you get there.
You have to scramble over some tricky rocks to access the "cove" so you really appreciate putting your feet on the sand. It's not overlooked, very relaxed atmosphere, the sea is really easy to bathe in and the whole place is really clean and respected by all visitors. Really worth the effort.

tricky to find, amazing to arrive at!
Sep 2019
We went as a group of friends to that beach. You need to first hike and then trek your way there. The path starts easily uphill but then you need to go around a very rocky paths and could be dangerous if you fall.
Arriving there was the greatest part! really nice beach with a great view.
The downside we faced was the way-back, basically all tourists/adventure-seekers left and we were on our own so we lost our way back and started wandering randomly in the mountain until we reached the path, and luckily 15 minutes before sunset :/
Note: Wear shoes if you want to go there! I was clumsy enough and did it using flip-flops. This ended up by me walking and climbing my way back barefooted, and got it hurts!

Stunning BUT “rocky” to get to it
Aug 2019
Pros
Not crowded
Beautiful and tranquil cristal-clear beach

Cons
Hard to get there. You have to walk a good 20 minutes and then find the rocky path that will get you down there. Add another 20 minutes

In my opinion, kids over 6 years old could make it. Definitely people over 60 will not. Thus, people in between 6 to 60 (being optimistic)

Beautiful cove - well worth the walk
Jul 2019 • Family
Parked at the end car park (not the first one) and took 20-30 minutes to walk down and around 30 minutes to walk back. Most of the path was OK - rocky and uneven - but the last part was a scramble over the rocks. Couple of tricky parts (especially if you don't like heights!) but really worth it. Take water and wear good shoes and the sea and views are stunning.

Worth the Trek
Jul 2019 • Couples
My review of Coll Baix isn't too different from many others - It's a tough trek there if you aren't fit or prepared to clamber over rocks. However, if you are, then it's totally worth it! Park at the big carpark at the very end, don't just stop at the first sign of a small carpark as this will add more walking to your journey. Wear appropriate footwear (I wore thin soled trainers and even these were a little slippy). Take your time as it can be a little dangerous and bring plenty of water. Once on the beach, enjoy the remoteness, the huge waves and the inquisitive goats, and also save some energy for the trek back to the carpark (It seemed to not be as far heading back up).

A little tough but definitely worth it
Jul 2019 • Family
If you like hiking and are not afraid of heights.
If you wear comfortable sneakers.
If you leave in your car everything unnecessary.
If you keep your hands free, because you might need them to climb some rocks.
Then, it's really worth it. The water is unbelievable, the landscape Is charming. Just plan well in advance - you might get there at 6 pm and find out that the sun is already fading behind the forest, so the beach might get completely shaded in 10'. And remember that the road to get there is quite bumpy and narrow.

Stunning secret beach
Jul 2019 • Friends
This is one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen. The trail to the beach itself is a little difficult as you have to quite and clamber over rocks but it is definitely worth it. The beach is made of tiny stones which is lovely as you don't get sandy once out the water. There are quite a few goats so do be careful with your food. I would definitely recommend taking a lot of water too.

This is the most awesome beach in Mallorca! The path to the beach is actually not that easy, there is some hiking, but i think it's better, beach is like a gift with blue waters 😍
