This is an utterly unforgettable experience with a real star of a guide: Inaki. Highly recommended to experience this if you’re within 50 kilometres of San Jose. You see a lot, learn a lot and have lots of fun!

We spent a wonderful and inspiring evening in this great activity organized and hosted by Iñaki: Cabo de Gata, with few lights and deep dark at night, is a perfect setting for stargazing, and Iñaki is a very passionate and prepared guide, who took us through all the basics of stargazing, the stories and myths behind it, how to tell the difference between planets and stars, identify the north star etc., always making it fun and enjoyable for the whole group. We even had the chance to spot the International Space Station!

Highly recommendable for all ages. Who would have thought that an "activity" which involves lying on the ground could be so interesting and educational! I would imagine in the winter you would need to wrap up warm, but we went early August and it was a very hot evening. Comfortable shoes are helpful purely because you walk up a rough path to reach the clearing where there was already a huge telescope set up. Iñaki enthuses astronomy and astrology and makes sure he knows everyone's level of knowledge about the stars so that he can adapt his presentations. He has the most amazing collection of didactic tools - fluorescent charts and graphs as well as lazer pointers and models of the Sun, Moon and Earth. He manages to keep everyone's interest for almost two hours. We are thinking for going back again in the winter to see how different the stars will be at that time of year! Wonderful evening.

Hello Amelia, Woow, It's a very good review. I am very happy you enjoyed the activity and thanks to share your experience with the rest of the people. I am always wondering how to create new tools in order to surprise everyone ;) We will be wainting you in winter with other constellations and their myths, and new objects to look at with the telescope. Thank you again and see you next time. Best wishes.

We really enjoyed our stargazing experience with Iñaki. He is very knowledgable and friendly. He's created amazing props that really help you to understand the night sky and certain astronomical concepts. He makes the information very accessible and his English is excellent. This would be a great family outing, the kids will enjoy it as much as the adults! Highly recommended! -Stefani y Mauricio (USA)

I wasn't really sure what to expect from my 'observation of the stars' experience but was very pleasantly surprised. Inaki is super enthusiastic, knowledgable, brilliant at explaining complicated concepts, but most of all he makes the experience really fun. He speaks brilliant English which means it's really easy to arrange things too. I expected the experience to be about an hour long and we actually spent about 2 and a half hours looking at constellations and moon craters. Treat yourself and book this - you won't regret it!
