donot take your own vehicles till the entrance if its not an SUV. hire a jeep, park your vehicle on a safer place, jeep might cost you 700 for 6 people trek will be tiresome, take enough water

Great place to visit, if you are planning for a trek, make sure you are there by 7 AM, road to Chembra peak is bad, avoid own vehicle and use the Jeep service, negotiate the prize

Hi Jitten, No, the chembra peak is closed for last 4 months. However, if you want to experience nature you can take a jeep from Meppadi which will take you to foothill of chembra. Cheers, Gunjan
