This is one of the beautiful hills in the Wayanad district. I suggest you hire on of fairly priced local keeps to take you to foot hills from where you walk for about 2 kms before the trek begins. There is a high chance that access to the peak is barred when you visit and you'll be able to trek... More

No words can describe the feeling of absolute spellbound-ness and the feeling of "If there is heaven, then this must be it"! The majestic view of the peak, the lush greenery... More

We travelled by our car where we were stopped on the way saying the road onwards is in bad condition and that we had to take a jeep ride till the peak, 8kms more.... More

Guide Charges Rs.750/- for a group of upto 10 people. First half of the trek passes through coffee estates upto the forest office. From the forest office terrain will... More

This place is good for a short trek. They have curtailed the trail to the heart shaped lake and one cannot trek up to the actual Chembra peak due to restrictions. Despite that it is very good. Access to the base point of the trek involves a stretch of road (if it can be called that) that can be done... More

Also, many leeches around, so advisable to dress modestly with a good... More
