About
My name is Misko Lekovic and I am the 13th generation living in the village Godinje, the place that gives a different perspective of the Skadar lake National park. Join me and my family for our wines, brandies and liqueurs tasting. We can prepare homemade and local specialties for you. If you are into sightseeing and hiking I can take you on a tour and tell you all about the Godinje. We have great stories, you are welcome to visit us and hear it. Please do not forget to make a reservation before your visit. I am fluent in English.

Passing through Godinje on bicycles on the main road we followed the signs for a restaurant. It was very steep uphill, but worth the climb, as the village and the settings are beautiful. (Un)fortunately there were no one at the restaurant, so around the corner we instead met Miskovic. He served us his own delicious high quality homemade wine, food, brandy and liquors. He enthusiastically explained us about the products and production. His principal is that he only serves wine and food that he would like to have himself. He also explained the village's history. It was are great and pleasant experience. We highly recommend this place.

We booked a wine tasting at Winery Garnet for our first night in Montenegro after reading the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed!

We walked from our accommodation in Virpazar to Godinje - which took just over 1 hour. Although it was very hot and hilly, it was worth it for the breathtaking views over the lake (taxis are available for about €5 if you would prefer to save your energy).

We arrived at Winery Garnet to a warm welcome from Misko and a big jug of cold water to cool us down. Once we had recovered, we were treated to an interesting talk about how the wine is produced at this particular winery.

Next it was on to the tasting and what a surprise. We were treated to 3 glasses of lovely wine (white, rose, red) alongside some delicious and plentiful local snacks. This amazing experience was rounded off with 4 shots of different flavoured liqueurs. All the drinks we sampled were produced onsite and were very tasty. We loved every minute of the experience (which was extremely good value) and couldn’t think of a better way to spend an evening.

Thank you Misko for your hospitality and fine wine, the bottle we bought to take home has already been finished :-)

Our 1st visit while in Montenegro was to Misko's wonderful village having heard about his passion, hospitality, tradition and humbleness. We were touched by the hospitality shown by Misko and family and was extremely pleased with the time spent at his place. Even though there was disruption in power supply (as a result of overnight storm) Misko was more than happy in accomodating us and offering us with fresh juice, wine and snacks. The variety of wine offered for tasting was so good and authentic. We were also treated with his famous home made bread prepared passionately by him and burgers. It was indeed satisfying to be in the company of Misko & family and i would definitely recommend Misko's place to people who wish to explore authentic cuisine, genuine and ethnic lifestyles. We wish Misko and family the very best and success in their life.

We took the "Hedonist Wine and food Tour" from Let's Go To and it was one of the best choices we did during our two week stay in Montenegro. At first we were little hesitant about the high price, since we were only two people, but it was all worth it. The other tours seemed interesting as well but as wine lovers, ended up choosing this one. The day started at 10:30 at the bus station on Virpazar where Misko picked us up and immediately felt welcome by his calm and friendly presence. We travelled to two different kinds of vineyards, had wonderful food, drinks and conversations with the locals. The tour ended at Miskos own winery, at the beautiful little Godinje village, again served with history, great food and wines. His family was as welcoming and warm as himself.
This is one of the things I wouldn't miss while at Virpazar/Montenegro! I'd recommend especially to couples, doing this with your sweetheart instead of a big group gave us more intimate feel to it and it'll stay as a lovely memory of our time in Montenegro.

It was a wonderful experience. We passed by after having a boat tour on Skadar lake and enjoyed there an amazing lunch/afternoon with a selection of local cheeses and ham and their home-made wines (white, rose and red) and rakja. The hosts are a lovely couple who do their best to make it a special event. Highly recommended when you are in the region, the red wine is a particular highlight.

I went there with my girlfriend. It's a really nice place in a beautifull tiny village. Very authentic also. You feel "at home". The owners are very kind and friendly. All the products are good and the tasting is not expensive at all. It really worth it. I highly recommand :)

Had a wonderful evening in this tiny village in the hills of Montenegro, drinking home grown wine and spirits whilst the wonderful Nisko told us all about the history and heritage to two wine novices. Amazing value for money!

With a group of 8 friends we visited the winery in August, 2018. The wine and food tasting was a great experience: we tasted the delicious wines, liquors and we had great food. Misko, his wife and kids are super friendly and very open! We had a great evening.
