Lovely garden, on a hot day we enjoyed the sea view, (just) the wooded glades and impressive planting close to the house. We didn't have time to see the house as well, and got politely berated by the lady on reception! And we really wanted...More

We visited when the weather was awful so we weren't able to explore the gardens but even in the rain they looked lovely from a damp distance. We were, however, lucky enough to be shown round the house by a member of the family who...More

Its hard to know where to begin. The house and the garden are both exquisite jewels. the Arts and crafts house is one of only two remaining designs of Lutyens with elegant detail. likewise, the gardens are a combination of formal 'rooms' and rolling woodland...More

Since you enter the gates, you feel how full of character and meaning these gardens are. Even though I only spent here a little more than 1 hours, I could easily have spent a whole day getting lost and finding my true self here. The...More

The gardens are quite lovely with various places to enjoy, both very formal as well as informal. Beautiful views over the ocean, the family continues to work in the garden every day. Just a lovely day out!

Le Bois de Moutiers comprises a Sir Edwin Lutyens House surrounded by formal gardens and an extensive area of parkland. Access to the house is, unfortunately, not possible. The formal gardens are absolutely delightful and and it is easy to spend an hour exploring them....More
