Crossing it on a bamboo raft costs 10 RMB per person and is the beginning (or the end - depends from which side you start) of the exquisite walk along the cliff in the Bamboo Sea. Do not miss this walk. It is easy and well marked and you can easily do it in less than 2 hours up to the cable car

The lake is great and fun on the bamboo rafts. However, the main attraction here is the path that runs around the side of the mountain. There are restaurants and villages suspended 300 metres into the void. It is a 5km walk and is worth finding. Spending a day wandering around the bamboo is also a day not wasted. Beautiful spot, best in the off season.

A must do in Shunan Zhuhai (Bamboo Sea). You row your own bamboo raft, and you can visit the shooting spot of the infamous Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon scene where Li Mu Bai fought and chased Jie Yu across the lake and the bamboo trees. Relaxing and serene experience. The bamboo raft and the background is also very picturesque.

Renting a raft that you have to row yourself is about $25 for up to four people. You can't go far, as the raft roof doesn't go under the bridge. Most of what you see can be seen from the shore, but if you like to be on water, it's a pleasant place.
