Overview
More
National Tiger Sanctuary is a non-profit, rescue facility that currently cares for a variety of big cats, including white and orange tigers, lions, leopards, and mountain lions. Visit our big cats from three feet away at 10 am, 12 pm, 2 pm, or 4 pm Wednesday through Sunday. Ask about special tours where you can go behind the scenes or feed the cats yourself! Photography and questions encouraged. By guided tour only so the cats can rest. Reservations only requested for the Behind the Scenes Tour. National Tiger Sanctuary is an educational campus dedicated to bringing awareness to the environmental conditions and their effects on the earth's ecosystems. Our mission is much bigger than just caring for our furry friends; we believe that through education we can all have a positive impact on the environment!

It is good that such places exist to provide a safe haven for unwanted and abused big cats. As we took the tour, our guide related the story of each of the animals. Very educational but not handicap accessible.

It is amazing to be that close to these beautiful animals. You can sign up to feed the Tigers. They educate you on how and why domesticated large cats are lucky to find these non-profit sanctuaries.
