We took a short drive up Wanagiri hills to the summit. It's true there are a vast amount of wild monkeys and unlike the sanctuary, you do need to watch your possessions as they'll be gone in a flash by these curious little fellas. The views from the summit are stunning. a fantastic 360 degrees view, but especially of the lake below. Lots of benches and tables, providing roadside picnic areas.

Good view. But watch out... too many monkeys. Don't ever think about eating around this place. Them monkeys are aggressive.

This is worth the effort and there is so much to see. Good views of the lakes and some great photo opportunities. If you wish to use the toilet, there is a couple available, but you do need to look for them and of course pay. (depending where you go around 5000)
Remember you are in the hills so don't expect the a 5 star bathroom! Love this area.

Morning atmosphere on the wanagiri hill. Located at an altitude of 1400m above the sea level, it is suitable for busy people to relax. Very romantic for those who are in love and also a challenging place for nature lovers. Here we are presented by the beautiful view of the twin lake Buyan and Tamblingan which is surrounded by towering green hills.

Looking for both view of Lake Tamblingan and Lake Buyan? This place offers both lake views with only 10,000 Rupiah entrance fee.
The ticket staff was eager to help and we actually took quite a lot of photos here.
Great place to see both the lakes and the green below.
