Well worth a visit to see the largest half-timbered church in the Marne
May 2019
The Eglise Saint-Nicholas dates from the late 16th-early 17th century and is the largest half-timbered church in the Marne. Its huge beams really create the impression of a forest. It has a porch in front of the facade, a beautiful slender spire, and a lovely rose window. It was classified as a historic monument in July 1964.

We understand the church is open every day from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm. The church was empty when we visited, and you are free to walk around at your leisure. There may be information boards or explanatory materials available, but when we visited, they were not obvious.
