We were taken on this delightful tour in 2 outrigger boats by Gayan Geeth. Gayan and his crew were most knowledgeable about the birds and trees and shrubs in Kalametiya. We even did a nature walk. Light snacks were offered during this pleasant tour.

Review of: Sri Lion Cabs
We decided to do this trip on a whim and boy are we happy that we did! Mahesh thought of many small but appreciated touches like providing a bird list, bird book, binoculars and fresh fruit. He was was extremely knowledgeable and shared many anecdotes about the local wildlife. We have been on many wildlife safaris and tours in Sri Lanka and give Mahesh’s experience our highest possible recommendation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our bird watching tour. We saw over 40 species of birds, monkeys, water buffalos and iguanas. The sunrise tour was relaxing and informative. Our guide was excellent with great knowledge of all the species. We’ve been treated some complimentary water and some biscuits too.
