Had 20 minutes to 'kill' before going to lunch so called in to see what they had. My partner saw a plant but as there were no staff around decided to go for lunch and call back. This we did some 2 hours later but suddenly were told the nursery is not open! I struggled to understand another word he was saying but explained that we had seen a plant and so he escorted us to find it and we went to pay. The lady then explained that only the gardens were open at £5 per person to which we declined. We then said there were no notices saying it was closed and she said someone, a member of staff I presume, had moved it and not put it back. We were made to feel like intruders and will certainly never be back.

Spent a delightful hour last Saturday perusing this delightful garden, lots of interest in the large borders full of herbaceous perennials and thankfully not a straight line in sight! Was great to see all plants were labelled so I could jot down any that caught my eye. A word of caution though I visited after a few days of exceptionally wet weather so the grass was quite sodden, this really encouraged me because it let me see what was possible to grow in heavy wet clay soil! My only disappointment was that the nursery was closed due to the covid situation, I will definatlly be back in the spring to pick up some of the unusual hard to source variaties grown here!

I purchased 3 Peony plants online. They came very quickly and are well established and healthy, can’t wait to get them in and watch them flourish. Thank you. Very impressed will definitely use again. 😊

I purchased two delphinium plants on line from Ballyrobert, they were cheaper than a lot of other online gardening outlets and I wasn't expecting too much. Updates on the order were provided, the plants arrived quickly and were both very healthy and a decent size. In a few weeks they are really growing beautifully.
