Short walk amongst limestone rocks, draped in tree roots and surrounded by jungle-like forest. The walks leads you through a narrow chasm between towering limestone rocks to a lookout. Here you can view Pohara Beach and Golden Bay. Well worth the time and effort.

Says 30min return but we spent close to an hour here it’s just beautiful. There are some stairs at the lookout area which unfortunately means it isn’t pram or wheelchair accessible.

There is a loo near it but beware it’s only to be used if desperate

We went here after visiting the Pupu Springs - average. But this was incredible, honestly, can't believe this is all natural formations and landscape. It is an absolutely outstanding place, and the bonus is it is close to the main roads, and a max half hour walk to do the entire reserve. It may be close to civilisation but you feel as if you are in another universe. The rock formations are amazing, it feels prehistoric, there are plenty of little off-track bits you can go to. Plenty of photo ops too. Kids would have a ball here. A definite highlight of our few days in the area.

This is a nice little site that only takes 10mins to explore, but it's cool to see the impressive granite rocks and large root systems.

Such a beautiful spot with the amazing grove of Nikau Palms, making it look very tropical. Easy walk for most people & sure to be fun for children.

It may only be a short walk (30 minutes or so) on a circular track, but don't let that make you think it isn't worth it. It is actually an amazing place winding your way around these tall rock formations and canyons. And then the lookout platform at the end is incredible with stunning views to the ocean and beyond.

It's free and easy to get to, so is definitely worth a visit.
