The title being a big farm is so overrated.
The only thing we saw was a few big bee statues and some bee in boxes.
They don’t actually have the farm here on site.

90% of the rest of the time was being tutored by their sales person about trying to scare you with your health and ended up on how great bee products are.

I came here to find out about bee farm, not about bee product.

I appreciate if they’re selling great bee products.
But should have been honest from the beginning that this is a factory outlet.

Total waste of time for what I’m looking for.

After a 10 minute tour (which is why this gets two stars and not just one), we were shuffled into a small room (luckily air conditioned) and given a 30+ minute presentation on the virtues of bee products.

The tour itself was nice — you get to see the small Thai bees (like small ants), hold a shelf filled with bees (luckily smoked so they were disoriented) and see some museum exhibits about bees (including the largest hive found in Thailand).

The product demonstration (honey, royal jelly, bee pollen...) was a bit much — apparently you can cure constipation, spur a growth spurt, cure cancer, make you look young forever and heal all sorts of wounds! There were some sketchy newspaper articles used to substantiate these claims.

A very quick tour followed by half hour of hard sell. Pricy product sold as a cure for everything (based on no scientific evidence). Not really worth the visit unless you are in the market to buy honey products.

Our driver took us to this place "bee farm", we thought it would be like a bee farm but it wasnt! A guy who looked like a tour leader approached us and explained about bees, honey, and royal jelly. But it was all a con! They just tried to sell their stuffs. He tooked us to a room for further explanation and ended up with forced us to buy the products. When we decided not to buy any, he became rude and left the room. Not recommended!!! Avoid this place if you can!

Well, it is not a farm. There is nothing there. They only force you to buy their product. The sales girl explained their product very detail and interesting but she really force you to buy their product, even when i say no still she force you and talked very rude. We have the right to say no and not buying their product. Not recommended. And wont come back.

We read in promotional materials that it's a bee farm allowing people free tour of the farm to see demo of bee farming, etc., and optionally buy some honey if you like. We went there on 14 Aug 2015, and were very disappointed! The first thing they did was to assign a sales lady to take us to a room to give us a 30-min introduction of their products - honey, royal jelly, pollens - how they were good for health, etc. When I requested to let our kids see the bee farm and place an order for the products afterwards, the lady refused and would only take us for a farm tour after we had placed orders!! And guess what! After placing the order, the so-called tour was only 10-min where we only got to see some samples of empty bee hives, and each allowed to hold a wooden plank with bees to take a photo. When we asked to see a particular part of the 'garden', the lady told us that the bees there were hostile and so refused to take us there. We got to know that the real farm where they produce honey was not in the Big Bee Farm in Pattaya but somewhere in northern Thailand.
On the whole, this so-called Big Bee Farm is not a real farm for you to tour around to see bee farming for free and optionally buy some honey, but the other way round: it's a sales outlet to press tourists to buy their products, while you may optionally be given a very short tour with very little to see. Totally NOT worth visiting unless you really intend to buy honey and royal jelly products.

That place is special shop for bee products and have a lot of things make with honey.
but i went to that company from Indonesia , after showed us something at small farm we went to room for presentation products to us , with one staff that her name was Lili , since first explanation until last just she wanna push us for purchase products without any scientific explanation any knowledge about bee products .
Finally a lot of person didn’t purchase ,she become angry and her attitude was too much cheep , and that make us very bad memories in travel to that company.

After arrived, local tour guide seem talked with a guy in Bahasa Indonesia language. What? He spoke fluently like had learnt for long time. But he is actually from Indonesia. What??? Seriously???

Later he explained some species of bee, included origin of place and physical characteristics to distinguish each species of bee. After that, everyone instructed to enter a room to listen presentation about all of product. (Honey product)

The presentation itself has duration about 1 hour. I was bored listened it. During presentation the guide shown all product, advantages of each product, consumption rules (rule differ depends each product). Instead of just talked to audience, the guide also show live how to consume each product. He show each step immediately. Sorry I can't speak about it more detailed and futher because it sound like ads.

In short, arrangement of presentation much like in most of goverment required visit shop in China.

After presentation about product ended, I look around shop area. Looking selection of honey and derived products of honey reminded me of a store that I visited back on trip to Perth.

At the end, I'm speechless because my father bought some product that might be turn into unnecessary purchase. Until present, none of the product has consumed yet.

If you are looking for a unique and educative attraction near Pattaya, The Big Bee Farm should be on your next visit. Known as the largest tourism-inspired bee farm in Thailand, this place offers you a tour around their farm, a Bee Man Show, and of course a sample of their product. On the tour you will see how they farm the bees, and you will get to know glimpses of bees behaviour. It was very relaxing yet educative visit. The tour guide was very friendly and funny. Don't worry about communicating because people in this place speak English very well.  If you are traveling with kids, it is something you look for .
