Pic du Midi in the Hautes-Pyrénées. An exceptional destination in high mountain for the holidays and the weekends: families, tourist groups, school outings, events and seminars of companies. All year long, access by cable car from La Mongie, at feet of the Col du Tourmalet. At the summit the most beautiful panorama of the Pyrenees, a museum on the astronomy and the history of the Pic du Midi, a traditional restaurant of altitude. Mountain bike downhill. Panoramic webcams and weather conditions live

Not the cheapest attraction so make sure you check the weather so you don't find yourself in the clouds as the views both on the cable car trip and from the Pic itself are breathtaking. There was an English guide there who seemed to seek...More

Make sure you're going to get the views before buying the tickets because that's why you're going! No kids under 2 are allowed up. The views really are incredible and though expensive I think you get your money's worth. The museum and explanations are an...More

We went in low season, there weren't many people and we were afraid about the fog, but up there the view was incredible! The fog actually made it nicer, because at the same time we could see the top of the mountains, we kind of...More

I run out of superlatives talking about this place. The views are just breathtaking and the site itself is very interesting. They run a regular, free, English-language tour of the public-accessible parts of the structure. Well worth a visit - although the Pyrenees are incredibly...More

Unfortunately the day we went was really busy and this did impact our trip - queues of about 30 minutes at both the bottom and the top - however it is the middle of the summer holidays so, to be expected. Amazing views from the...More

We visited Pic du Midi many years ago before the current cable car was here. That was a wonderful visit but now it is so much better. Years ago we had a scary drive and vertiginous walks to the top but the new cable car...More

We took the evening dining experience which did not disappoint. Nearly 3 kilometres above the sea to take a tour of the observatory and stay for the evening to watch the sun set after a pleasant meal was magnificent. Here you will find history, science...More

That was conducted in French (no problem for me) but they told us that they were preparing visits in English. So I advise you to contact them.
