Nice view

View and natural surroundings are nice. No service around, only for sightseeing and pictures. Good for walking with nature as having lots of pine trees.

Special foods, opportunity for meeting ethnic minorities, Walking into Pine Forests and enjoying its fresh air. The best period you should come to Pleiku is from Sep - Dec. That time will be a perfect time to watch large and beautiful wild sunflowers moutains.

Nice view but nothing much to see really. It's located just outside of Pleiku so if you want to go to the countryside this is perfect.

The lake was nice for a quick visit, but there are much more beautiful places to see in the central highlands. The viewpoint was also packed with Vietnamese tourists drinking and pouring beer everywhere, which ruined the peacefulness of the area a little.

Beautiful spot to visit. The veterans group I was with were mostly pilots who had served in this area. Not one of us had any memory of this lake! We all flew by it many, many times during our time in Vietnam, and it has to be a notable landmark from the air. Anyway, it is estimated to be one... More

The Lake is formed by the crater of an old volcano and consequently it's very deep. Access is almost impossible because the sides are so steep and at no swimming is allowed, though a couple of people were fishing. It is quite a beautiful spot to take a break from the buzzing built up urban jungle that is now Pleiku.... More

The lake itself is nice, but be aware that it does not have any pathway for walking around. No beach to spend some time in or near the water. You can just spend few minutes there, take some pictures and that's all. There is nothing to do there. We had a car with driver, so he took us there, but... More

A few kilometres from Pleiku amongst tall lush pine trees & low mountain landscapes is a flooded crater of an ancient volcano which serves as the reservoir to the modern city of Pleiku. Known as Bien Ho (sea lake) to Viets, this lake has been known to local hill tribes for hundreds of years, they have a famous tale of... More
