Our day tour with Mr Tu organised by @Samui tours and travels was an amazing experience.
We were picked up from the hotel at the said time. Once we reached the pier,we were served light breakfast (toast,tea/coffee,fruit juice). We then got on the boat & it departed on time. We were about 20 people on the boat including the staff. The guide & other staff on the boat were humble & answered all our questions politely throughout the tour. Safety was well taken care of. Snorkeling gear & shoes were available on the boat (just in case you forgot yours or didn't have time to buy one). We had sufficient time for snorkeling at Ko Tao(45mins) & Japanese garden(45mins). We then moved to Sairee hut beach for lunch (decent buffet with ice cream, arranged by the organisers). There was a good stock of water and soft drinks on the boat and beer too(80baht/can). Our last visit was to Nangyuan island where we spent 1.5hrs hiking(to the viewpoint) and just chilling out. Once we were back at the pier, we were served fresh fruits & juices and safely dropped off at our respective hotels.
The entire experience was totally worth it. And, most of all, the team that took care of it all were super organised and informative. They were able to point out where we would get the best snorkeling experience and they were spot on. I highly recommend Mr. Tu for a smooth and a great experience.

Absolute Asia Tours did an incredible job on our tour of Thailand, and we felt like we got much, much more than we paid for. The tour itself was nothing short of amazing. Tour guide Tony was knowledgeable and made everything interesting, and she knew when to stand back and let us experience things on our own for a bit. Front door service, always the best table, and other special treatment. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Absolute Asia Tours. Awesome!

Our family's trip to Bhutan, Cambodia and Thailand was so fantastic that we can't thank you enough. Every moving part of the itinerary was perfectly planned and executed. The day to day program you devised took into account all of our individual interests and preferred levels of activity. AA Tours' local guides were so kind and caring as well as attentive and respectful to our needs. In fact they often anticipated our needs. I literally cried when it was time to leave Bhutan - even in just over a week we managed to form a strong bond with the staff. During the last segment of the trip we stayed in a magnificent waterfront villa in Phuket. The food and service were excellent and everyone commented on the level of luxury and comfort. You even upgraded us to a larger yacht for our day trip to the beautiful islands along the coast. I'm afraid we may have established a hard to live up to benchmark for future family holidays. We certainly hope to travel with Absolute Asia Tours again in the future.

I recently completed an 18-day journey with AAT across Thailand and Vietnam, the trip was truly wonderful. I can't recommend them enough. The tour guides and hotels in each country were exceptional, providing the best experience. Stephen in particular took great care of us, responding almost instanly to any questions or concerns. If i plan another trip to Asia, there's no doubt I won't consider any other company but AAT.

Our expert agent Steve crafted an amazing trip thru Thailand-Vietnam &Cambodia! Steve's meticulous planning and transparent itinerary made it a top-notch private tour. Our guides and drivers were pros, ensuring each day was both theilling and safe. The captivating places and shows exceeded our expectations and over the cost? Absolutely resonable for a first class tour. Thanks a million for the unforgetable adventure Steve and Absolute Asia Tours.

The majority of Thais practice Buddhism 94% with only 3.9 % being Muslim and 0.65% Christian....We felt our tour guide had a hidden agenda as we were only taken to a select group of shops and outlets that were either owned or run by a minority religion where they tried to approach us to explain their religion...At no time did we even see anything to do with the Thais or Buddhism and at one stage were even dropped around the corner from a street that supported this minority religion then hurriedly shuffled back to the waiting bus for a quick getaway.....
The outlets were dreadful -selling fashion that looked it was from the 80's -and smelt of old cooking oil.....
We weren't offered any water or information nor were we taken to a local Thai restaurant ( as requested ) as our guide only felt comfortable leaving us in a mall that was 2 weeks old with almost no shops/food outlets- that way she could continue to fast and not join us as we would be leaving quickly due to nothing to see and very little food to choose from...
This was by far the worst tour we have ever experienced and a total waste of money,,,More importantly we believe that if the guide wants to try to convert their customers then they should at least explain their agenda in the first place...

Dear Estwayne I have to ask if you are absolutely sure you joined a genuine Absolute Asia Tours? As the owner of Absolute Asia Tours I can assure you there is nothing even remotely religious about any of our tour options - per the body of other positive reviews on Tripadvisor, none of which make reference to a religious agenda. Furthermore, in my 15+ years visiting Phuket as a tourist, before relocating to Phuket to set up Phuket Shopping Tours, and my 2+ years living here, I have never been approached by anyone pushing their religious beliefs EVER. In regards to you comments re: the shopping locations and food options, they also do not resonate with our tour products. Our Full-Day Shopping Tour includes a full sit down lunch, our 6 hour Shopping Tour excludes catering, but provides options for purchasing your own food/snacks during the tour, and our Private Shopping Tour & Sightseeing Tour will either include or exclude catering, depending our our guests requirements, which is determined in advance of the tour. All of these things are clearly articulated and agreed during the tour booking process. I truly regret that you had a poor experience. However, I just cannot understand how your experience relates to our business. Kind regards Nirelle Bennett

Laurence was an outstanding guide and host. We saw parts of the Island that one could not imagine. It was a very personalized experience and she was able to arrange everything to our needs (transport, type of hike, food/drink). We also learned many sociocultural aspects of living in Thailand (from a Western perspective) which you could not gain from a guidebook. This was definitely a highlight of our entire trip to Thailand.

I’ve looked and researched extensively before choosing to move forward with @ Samui Tour and Travel to go forward with the National Marine Park Tour, as there are many options available and many reviews out there. Most tours will provide either a speed boat with 30 people or a big boat that carried upto 60 people, as someone who likes to explore and truly enjoy each experience, it didn’t make sense to go with a big group.

As such, I reached out to @ Samui tour and Travel and asked a lot of questions about possibly doing a smaller tour with a max of 14 people per speed boat, and have gone back and forth until I was happy with all the answers and had clear understanding of how the trip would look like. I was really lucky, as in the speed boat tour there were only 6 of us as passengers on the tour, which worked out perfectly. The fee for this tour was slightly more expensive than the amount you’ll find online for the more crowded ones and frankly it wasn’t expensive at all for the experience we had and had been able to enjoy the overall experience a lot more. I paid 4,500Baht.

The more private tours route is slightly different than the ones you’d see online where they take the most tourists to certain locations, this way we avoided the crowds during the whole trip. It was awesome!

We did start out with snorkeling at our first stop, then got into the Marine Park and saw all the amazing and different rock formations, then we headed to the famous Emerald Lake - where a scene of a James Bond movie was filmed - to access the lake, there is a fairly moderate hike on some very steep stairs (going up and down); it’s preferable you wear closed toe shoes, and the hike can burn your quads more than anything but not impossible to do if you’re moderately fit.

After the hike we were meant to go to a spot to kayak, and our guide wanted to give us more chance to see more beaches since we were a small group, unfortunately the weather changed and as a result we couldn’t kayak (it was something I was really looking forward to but unfortunately there was a chance for rain that day and on a short trip, I took the chance!)

So the plan changed we headed to have lunch at a really beautiful and authentic resturant at an edge of an island; it’s called Koh Palauy, and we were served with a buffet of different options between chicken, fried seafood, and salads and a really yummy chicken soup as well. They did ask us of food allergies before we headed to the Resturant.

After lunch we headed to one of the beaches and decided to stay there as it rained quite heavily for a bit, the weather since then hadn’t changed much from around 2pm; it didn’t unfortunately cut the trip short, and we were back to Koh Samui by 4pm exactly. It didn’t change how amazing the overall experience was and would definitely recommend booking with @ Samui and Travels.

They were quick to respond to my emails, provide information as needed and to me that was very important to choosing a company to book with!

Ps: I booked through email, they don’t have an option on trip advisor for this particular trip I believe.

This is what the original itinerary looks like:

9.00 pick up
9.30 depart koh samui
10.30 snorkeling koh wow
12.00 coastal cruises of the national park
12.45. Discover the lake and view point
13.45. Thai lunch at koh paluay
14.45 swimming , kayaking, relaxing on the beach
16.00. Back to koh samui
17.00. Transfer back to hotel

Despite the weather in the end, it was a great trip and I am glad I booked with Koh Samui @Tour & Travel!

My husband and I booked for an all day group shopping tour on the 21st June. Ernie called (half owner of Phuket Shopping Tours) the day prior advising that we would be the only 2 on the tour therefore we could tailor the day to our requirements. As we were on our honeymoon and this was the first time to Phuket we informed him of what we did and didn't want to purchase and let him know that we would like to learn and see a bit of Phuket. He took us to the Big Buddha which was so spiritual and amazing where we were blessed by a monk and then somehow Ernie convinced us to do an elephant treck...oh my god we did this for 30 minutes and if it wasn't for Ernie we would have never got up the courage to ever do it. lol

We visited various shops and had a couple of purchases and then went on for lunch. The flavours of the Thai food Ernie ordered were sensational with a fantastic view thrown in. Another highlight were the monkeys in the restaurant carpark afterwards.

After lunch we visited old Phuket town where Ernie informed us of the history of Phuket and the streets and then went onto to have some fun a the 3D museum until the Night Markets opened which was our final stop for the day before being taken back to our hotel at 5.30pm....we were exhausted but had such an fun filled amazing day with Ernie. We mentioned to Ernie that we would like to visit Phi Phi Island, unbeknown to us Phuket Shopping Tours organised this for us also at a very good rate. We were unaware there were various types of speedboat tours to the islands along with the various ferry's however Ernie advised the trip he was suggesting to us wasn't the cheapest speedboat trip but had smaller groups on board and better quality speedboats and tours, we took his advice and booked. Well Ernie, you outdid yourself again, the day for the speedboat trip included 4 islands and an abundance of food supplied at one of the islands....we didn't want the day to end and it was worth every single dollar. Oh and the weather was so perfect considering it was their monsoon season!

Our fantastic time with Ernie did not end there. We asked Ernie if he was available to take us out on the town at night in Bangla Road to experience the nightlife for a few hours that Phuket is so famous for and he happily obliged. Ernie picked us up at 9.30pm and we returned at 4.30am, our few hours turned into more than we expected but we partied with Ernie until the wee hours of the morning, dancing, etc.

The whole time Nirelle (the other owner of Phuket Shopping tours), kept in contact with us on Messenger asking how everything went and also gave advise on what restaurants we should visit.

All we can say is well done Ernie and Nirelle, you have a fabulous business and we will be only too happy to refer you onto our friends, family and associates.

We look forward to seeing you back next year for some more fun.

What a fantastic trek did we do with Laurence. Family of 4, kids of 5 and 6.5 and a great climb to the highest point of Koh Samui. But first transfer from our hotel in a pick-up truck to the start of the trek. We could choose between normal seats or in the back of the pick-up truck. Of course we went for the open ride and at that point, the day could not get better for the kids!

We had a great walk of roughly 4.5 kilometers up, Laurence explained a lot about plants, fruits, plantations...etc. When one of the kid missed a step and went flat on his face, she had stuff to clean and cover the wound. Once at the top, Laurence had brought multiple fruits for a tasting which was really interesting and delicious.

A fantastic half day, we absolutely loved it. And the movie Laurence did of the day is a fantastic memory to keep with us.
