Amazing staggering gigantic. A Meteorist hit the earth here 10 million year ago and it's signs are still all around. It weighed 50million tonnes and was a mile across. It killed everything in a 300 mile radius. 15 Hiroshima bombers equivalent. All local sub structures...More

Got lucky and made it in at 1720 on a week night. Had to ring the buzzer as the door was locked; watch for that, I expect the proprietors carry on with their day rather than deal with the not-so-massive flow of tourists thru town....More

If you like all things space and geological this is a cheap couple of hours if its raining. Most of the exhibits are in French although the guided tour, if a little long winded, is sometimes in English
