About
This 3.7-mile-long beach has calm and shallow waters (great for kids to swim in) and plenty of water sports available like parasailing and jet skiing. The beach is divided into four sections and is packed with cafés, bars, and designated play areas. One section is an unofficial "nude beach", and another has sand dunes to explore. You can get sunbeds, umbrellas, and personal lockers for a fee, and there are also free-to-use showers. It's also one of the safest beaches in the world, with more than enough lifeguards on duty and a thorough rescue system in place. – Tripadvisor

    Quiet and relaxing
Its a quiet place, nothing flash but that makes it attractive as you don't get large noisy groups around. Beach is simple and safe with lots of sun beds. Major base for cycling in Spring and Autumn

    Lovely beach
A lovely beach on with plenty of sunbeds if get up early enough. Sea is clear and shallow some way out. Been here a few times but seemed not to be as clean but maybe that is down to others not putting rubbish in bin. The man taking money for sunbeds was very friendly. The only downside was one of the sales men on the beach was quite rude-asking for cigarettes, sitting down on the end of our sunbed and even helping himself to some melon we had purchased on the beach. The other salesmen and women were lovely.

    A wonderful beach!
Nice, long beach. Despite the great crowd, there is a place for everyone. Both for lounging on the sand itself and for sunbeds with parasols that have a safe with a code to leave your phone, wallet... when you go swimming. It is a bit more shallow and you will have to walk a bit longer to the depth to swim. Toilets are there, showers, lots of places for volleyball. There is a supermarket and a restaurant near the beach. The beach is long and depends on where you are. New restaurants are being built along the entire length of the beach, which will probably be for next season. This will probably make it easier for tourists to be able to buy something refreshing, eat a snack, drink coffee without having to dress up and go to a cafe or restaurant. The only thing that bothered us was that you didn't have something on the beach, where you could buy something and enjoy it on your deckchair.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Mallorca
A beautiful sandy beach, where you can rent sunbeds with umbrellas for a good price. There is also a good selection of food and drinks by the beach, and fruit is also sold on the beach from time to time. The beach is clean and suitable for both families and couples in love.

Beautiful clear warm water and golden sand
Really beautiful beach with light golden sand and warm clear water. Will cost 20 Euros per day for 2 sunbeds with an umbrella. The seller was friendly. The pedalos with slide cost 20 Euros also for an hour. The beach illegal sellers are a little annoying sadly. They will bother you hourly on average and some don't take no for an answer. Best to totally ignore them as when you try to be polite they don't move on. Despite this, this is one of the nicest beaches I have visited worldwide.

Overrated & overcrowded. We booked a hotel really close to this beach (not to mention that this hotel does not have a half of the price value we had to pay), we wanted to be really close to a nice beach. I mean the beach is not ugly but very narrow and overcrowded and two sunbeds with a parasol cost around 19€/day. We spent 2 hours total there and chose to walk 30minutes to a nicer beach instead. If we knew before, we would have never chosen this hotel in this location. It is a mass tourism place and every day we have to think about a plan how to get away (trips on bus, bike, scooter or car), we are very disappointed, won’t ever come back. This is the first time we are looking forward to go home from the holiday :(
If you really want to visit this place, plan your trip to spend here at most 1 day.

An okay beach that was very crowded and narrow. Felt very packed and you need to swim quite far out in order to get deeper into the ocean. Two beds were €15 for the day and comes with a safe box to put belongings. I wouldn’t be visiting again purely because the pictures couldn’t be further from what we had experienced!

we took two buses for a total of two hours to get to the famous playa de muro, beautiful walk through the pine forest, but arrived nothing spectacular, yes two sunbeds and an umbrella 14 euros but the short beach and sea full of seaweed, to swim in clean water you had to go offshore,
not recommend the end of playa de muro try where it starts. only shower every 200 meters and amenities to review. disappointing compared to other little known beaches and much cleaner

What a beautiful beach, clean sand and turquoise seas which is very calm and quite shallow for some way out.

The sun loungers €15 for two beds and an umbrella were great including the use of personal al lock boxes for valuable.

Quite a few bars and restaurants just at the back so great for food and drink.

Muro Is a Long Beach in the North. The sand is really bright and the water is clear and flat which allows you to just sit in the water and enjoy the sun. The pier which was right in front of us, is very dreamy. From time to time you see how the boyfriend has to be the Instagram photographer for his girlfriend. It’s delightful. There are good parking spots every where and a lot of opportunities to get snacks and drinks. There are also some sunbeds you can rent. And if that’s not enough you can just lay on your Sunbed and go shopping at the same time. You have a variety to buy
Luis Viton glasses or to get a small airbrush tattoo. :)

This beach is sandy, clear water, slowing shelving into the sea. Nevertheless the beach is packed even on a Monday at 11am, dirty, lots of wrappers etc stuck in the sand, no facilities like shower points, toilets, drinks areas on the beach. Very disappointing. Maybe I am just old

Come non fare un salto a playa de muro?! Beach that is very reminiscent of our beaches of Salento but that you distinguish for the presence of its renowned and long wharf. Clear water and fine white sand. Half a day of relaxation and lots of sun. Books are always occupied by residents of hotels overlooking the beach. As soon as you land in Mallorca your first purchase must be an umbrella. You will need it in all coves so it is a great investment. Take advantage of the lady with the wheelbarrow selling excellent fresh fruit. If you want to eat really well and with your feet in the sand I recommend the chiringuito Bar Pierino
Italian conduction but delicious tapas as well as sangria

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Playa Esperanza Resort and every day we go to Muro beach and use the beach chairs in the Hotel's garden, which are still free because the beach chairs and umbrellas scattered throughout the garden are paid for. but two sun loungers and an umbrella cost more or less 14 euros per person and each umbrella has a safe!!
From the hotel garden, you can walk to the 7 km beach with white sand and crystal clear water, even if it was green the days we went.
Other days the water was full of algae.
There are different lifeguards throughout the beach and in general there are sun loungers from the different hotels for payment all over the beach.
We don't have a car but there is plenty of parking in front of the beach.
There are many beach bars, restaurants and a paddle surf school.
