Had a morning to use up on the way back from a holiday in Devon and this was a great find! Amazing setting and a real intriguing little adventure for the two of us despite no existing art or sculpture interest or experience. Dog friendly...More

Short drive from Barnstaple, in the grounds of an hotel, a garden of sculptures. From beautifully crafted pieces, some poignant, others I just did not get. Well worth the drive and few quid for admittance.

Located near Barnstaple, this is a great place to visit. There are lots of lovely sculptures both modern and old. Many are in the garden but go indoors too to see more. Some are for sale but they are not cheap. And it's a great...More

an abundance and wide variety of sculptures in a steep sided, wooded valley with a small river running through. All of which meant it never felt overcrowded – more a journey of discovery

Went with a group of friends and loved the setting. Masses to look at and the stream through it was magical. We definitely preferred the existing pieces to the new competition entries. There is a stunning tree in the centre. We will be returning to...More

Really lovely place - in truth when i pulled into the carpark I did wonder whether I wanted to go but then I walked up to the hotel and the sculpture park is gorgeous. Really worth a visit even if you don't like sculptures!

We wandered the garden because we stayed at the Boomhill Hotel. We don't really like contemporary art but the setting is in a nice wooded area which made it nice to walk around the trails while taking in the artwork. If you like contemporary sculpture...More

Some of these sculptures are SO pretentious! And the sums of money they're on sale for... ridiculous! But some were good/interesting, the setting is lovely, and if you combine your visit with the set lunch, you don't have to pay t osee the sculptures. I'd...More

Thank you for your review and we completely understand that art is very subjective and some of the work that we have here is not for everyone. We're very glad though that you enjoyed the setting and hope to see you again soon.

One of my favourite places to visit, I first came here in 2001 and it was a gem of a place then. I have been back many times since with friends, family and on my own. My recent visit was August 2017 and as usual...More

Broom hill has grown over the years and gets better and better. The sculptures can feel a little packed in for me, but that might be great for other viewers. You need about an hour and a half to wonder around.
