This temple is on the top of the mountains with stairs.The place is full of devotees and therefore is very crowded. The road to the temple often witnesses traffic jams. Its a marvelous 360 degree view of the hills and valleys around.everyone should visit here...More

If your fitness level allows do the trek through the jungle and not by the steps.Preferably take a guide from your hotel.Its tough, wear a full sleeve and full pants as there are insects and leeches.

It is a tough trek but everyone in my family and friends group climbed it. Unlike other temple walks which are only about religion this one is also very photogenic and adventurous.

From Dhanaulti you can easily get buses to Kaddukhal, from where one has to start the trek to Surkanda. You can also get shared jeeps from there as both the points- Dhanaulti as well as Kaddukahl are right on the main road... More
