We had an amazing experience at Rita’s Cookery class! When we arrived Rita and her husband Mukund were very hospitable and welcoming. We had a nice little tour through their beautiful garden which has several ingredients used for cooking. After this, we learned how to make famous masala chai (which was probably one of the best we had in India so far). The class was well organized and the instructions were clear. Rita is very patient and had answers to all our questions. We learned a great deal! Also, the kitchen is very clean and nicely set-up which enhances the great experience we had. In the end the result was delicious! Thanks to Rita’s recipe cards we can easily recreate the dishes back home. We would definitely recommend! 10 out of 10!…

The class was really great we learnt about all the spices and cooked different meals. Rita and her colleague are passionate about cooking and teaching how to make authentic Goan cuisine. The setup is great.

We had a really good time at Rita’s cooking class! She and her husband are very friendly people and we learned a lot. The market tour teaches us about the different spices and vegetables from the region ans Rita was happy to answer all our questions. Then the cooking class was amazing. We cooked 5 different meals and learned all about Indian, Portuguese and Goan cuisine, exactly what we hoped for! I’m definitely going to to cook all of them again. Highly recommend this place, totally worth it. Just sad we couldn’t keep those nice chef hats.…

I’m an inexperienced cook but Rita’s approach to teaching Goan cuisine is incredible! It didn’t take long for me to become comfortable with the whole experience, and to develop new found passion for cooking Indian food. It started off with learning about Goa and its rich culinary history, understanding the different spices that go into masala blends, then incorporating them into different dishes. Every step of the process was engaging and fun. Not to mention every dish we made tasted incredible! A must try for anyone visiting Goa 🤙🏼…

I managed to book a cooking experience with Rita and her team all the way back in April 2019. I visited with my sister and my Auntie and we had the whole day learning how to cook the most amazing food. It was informative, enjoyable and genuinely the best Indian food I have ever tasted. If you are in Goa, this is so worth taking a day out, you will not regret it. An amazing team offering an invaluable experience. Thanks Rita & Co from James, Kirsty and Lou x…
