The waterfalls are about a 40 minute bus ride away. They are beautiful and pretty tall! I would bring some snacks and water and try to stay for the afternoon, lying out on the rocks and just enjoying the beautiful waterfall. I have heard that...More

the hike is really short but it gets intense towards the end where the rappelling starts. It can be a little bit scary due to the height but it is totally worth it. You need to rappel down that waterfall. It's an amazing experience. Make...More

I recommend to take the second entrance, after the green gate, as the hike is more fun, maybe a bit more demending, with a lot of ropes and ladders to climb. Few small pool along the way, till you get to the master pool where...More

Good place to visit for a day, nice easy walk up through a nice path, lots of birds, butterflies etc. Only a short bus ride from San Gil and costs $5,000 pesos to enter. Nice swimming hole at the bottom of the waterfall too

Beautifull walk also for kids, a lot of butterflies and birds if you pay attention. For the thrillseakers you can also rappel donw the waterfall, which we both loved. After the rappel take swim in the refreshing natural pool.
