Be careful with big waves. And go to the part where island plantation is for their refreshments. Swimming isn't always possible. No lifeguards available. Surf only for experienced surfers.

just a great beach, very uncrowded - surf was up so you really needed to be careful in the water but plenty of pools to avoid the bigger waves. Bom Bom beach bar is perfect spot for food/drinks...plenty of great surfers come for the breaks...More

this beach is not suitable for swimming.. my girlfriend nearly lost her life and all locals relayed similar experiences.. the currents are literally deadly and some have died.. the ocean's power is magnificent, walking along the shore is enjoyable, but it is not the place...More

Going on January is not the best time. The golden sand beach is flooded by heavy waves which masked it difficult to have actual beach space and not able to swim. Once it relaxes is a great virgin beach to just get some sun, relax...More
