Prepare your camera. In mandarin , it's called 孩子山. Definitely worth your visit. Get ready for the "goddamn" dirty WC.

After getting off from the highest airport located in the world (DaoCheng Airport), Haizin Mountain was just the start of our trip. Great view, but terribly dry. Forgotten memories of the past went into my mind when our guide told us that this drought started 8 years ago... Recommended for some shots.

At an altitude of 4410 meter, unique stones are spread all over the area. The size of the stones look alike. The scenic is unique. It is convenient to visit this place, as it is just outside the Airport of DaoCheng.

Average 4500M from sea level. Right after you step on the land you will feel temporary unable to breath. However, once you see the view, you are totally breathless.
Take your time to enjoy the scene, although it is more on rocks view but if with the blue sky and cloud, it definely serve as another desktop display picture

If you are here during late spring or summer, this place is definitely not worth the time. Plenty of rocks everywhere, some small-ish lakes, (or should I refer to them as ponds?), barren land with no or very dry vegetation. Not particularly scenic. Our driver was surprised that we requested to visit this place after we land at Daocheng Airport.

The phrase "haizi" refers to the small lakes, in large numbers, appearing in a region on the road from Litang to Daocheng (where Yading Nature Reserve is located nearby). There used to be a large number of such lakes but apparently the number has been rapidly diminishing. We might have stopped at the wrong spot but the tour agent showed us a spot where the haizi were small pools and located quite far away. Worth stopping on the way as you must pass by this place (unless you fly to Yading, as from Aug 2013) when you travel by car to Daocheng/Yading.

If you r a warrior longing for adventures and wonders, Mt. haizi is a right place for a challenge. On Mt.Haizi, looking after you will see the boundless sky and captivating scenery that will eventually shock your mind. It is a park or a garden sculptured by the nature.
