Sadly, the Wenxing Covered Bridge along with two other historic covered bridges in Taishun were swept away on September 15, 2016 during Typhoon Meranti. Wenxing Covered Bridge was rebuilt and opened on December 17, 2017.

In my opinion the most spectacular Chinese corridor bridge, a thrilling sight. Excellent wc. facilities approximately 100mtrs north of bridge.

Okay, here we go, I got this information from Chinabackpacker. We either took a bus or a train to get to Wenzhou, can't quite remember but I suggest you ask travechinaguide...this is all a bit amusing for me, I am an Australian auther of "Now Anyone Can Explore China" a partially bi-lingal Itinary guide available on Blurb, an Internet company In any case Wenzhou will be easy for you to reach. Don't miss seeing the Hukka Round Houses .
If you are coming from HK, Shanghai was you can get on the train. Jump on the Internet and reserch how to get to Wenzhou,,,you should see a map that sees you passing through Guangdong and Fugian Provinces.
Itinerary:
Actually you can visit all these places by car in two days. If you count on the local transport, you may spend three to four days. I recommend Sixi 泗溪, Xiaocun 筱村, and Zhouling 洲岭 smaller and much quieter. You can arrange the journey as follows: Wenzhou - Sixi - Xiaochun - Sankui - Zhouling - Xuexi - Yayang - Wenzhou. (See Map)
Hope this is helpful to you. Happy adventures,
