Beautiful walk up 510 steps to a simple temple at the top. Not too strenuous and with lovely forest views on route. Views are actually better on the ascent and descent than from the top. Very peaceful only saw four other tourists on our trek....More

The 500 steps isn't as hard as it sounds. You'll be a little sweaty by the end, but it's worth it. Doi Suthep was a harder climb.

500 steps to the summit (not all up hill) to lovely forest views. Very quiet with very few visitors.

One of the more beautiful temple settings high up in the mountains. Be prepared to walk a lot of steps, but the views are worth it!

We went in the early morning - there were very few people so it felt like we had the trail all to ourselves. Very lush, plenty of shade, lots of steps, so do bring water. Great views from the top!

As others have said, the stairs with the Buddhist teachings (translated to English as well!) were great and the atmosphere is serene. Jungle sounds and a great view with no traffic noise at all, a very welcome change of pace from the cities.

Relaxing walk up many stairs to reach the temple, with interesting quotes about Buddhism as you walk. Gorgeous views from the top. Overall a very relaxing and tranquil experience. A must see.
