Bus to Krabi
Jan 2020 • Couples
One of the cheapest ways to get to Krabi bus station from Phuket Town. Tickets can be booked at the counter when you get there. Mini bus 3hr - 140 baht pp lots of times available see photo. Toilets and snacks at bus station.

Good method of getting around Phuket such as a local
Oct 2019
The area bus between Karon and Phuket Town is a good experience. forty baht gets you from Kata or Karon into Phuket Town. Practically nothing much more than an open sided pickup truck, the Blue Bus does not possess a schedule except it works from 9.30am 4.30pm about every twenty minutes. These times must be checked out with a little flexibility. Do not turn up at 4.30pm expecting to find the next bus - it might well have left.

There aren't any bus stops. Be around on the key street and wave the hands of yours in the approaching bluish truck looking bus. The driver is going to stop, get in and off you go. The driver halfway throughout the journey records fares.

This's an ideal method to feel community transport.

They do function hourly
Oct 2019
Although it is not like the most modern bus station like some countries have, they are good! It's functional and there will always be buses hourly. Except for those traveling long distance like other provinces, they probably have scheduled. On high season or important events, they sometimes run out of seats.

Easy and Information point
Aug 2019 • Solo
Everytime I would visit the city I appreciate ending up at Terminal 1. It's information are on point and easy to get directions around. For those traveling from Phuket to Khao Lak a time table is shown and also for other places. The plus point here is the Airport bus that goes there every hour as well as when it will go back to the terminal. Near in the area are cheap hotels already which is just near to the Old Town.

A bit slow but does the business
Aug 2019
Took the shuttle bus from T2 to T1 for B15.00. It runs every 30mins between the two terminals.
The airport bus departs every hr from 05:00 until 18:30 for B100.00. Don't take if you are in a hurry because it takes 80 mins for the relatively short distance because it needs to pick up and drop off passengers along the route. Local Thais are using this route for commuting as well.

Busy bus terminal 1
Apr 2019 • Family
This is amongst the two important bus terminals in Phuket.

One can take a bus to visit many nearby places as well as to the Airport. Can get tickets much cheaper than the regular taxi. Can be a bit confusing, so go with time in hand and check with various operators for the best bargain

Phuket to Bangkok (15 hours)
Mar 2019 • Solo
Phuket Bus Terminal one is easily accessible from Phuket town. One can hop in a Sontheaw very cheaply, or jump in a taxi. I paid 200 baht for a taxi ride, but see if you can barter down further.

The terminal is clean and there’s plenty of buses leaving at various times going to various places. Travel from here is also very cheap. Just make sure you’re visiting all the booths which sell tickets to where you want to go to make sure you’re getting the best price and a time to suit you.

There’s a food stall near the seating area which sells confectionary and drinks.
