Did the monkey temple/white water rafting/zip line/lunch /waterfall and then elephant show. White water rafting was good... But over crowded with swarms of other rafts. The "captain" for the boat was persistent with enforcing his personal law of "TIP TIP, you all give me TIP after rafting OK?! You 100 thai baht, you 100 Thai baht, you give me TIP, OK?!" when getting off the boat he made the effort of following the passengers from his boat to ensure he gets his undeserved tip. After many times of asking me and following me I gave him 100 baht for just me, though he was insistent I give him another 100 for my partner, I rejected his scavenger-like proposal. From watching, it turns out all of these vulture-like "captains" of rubber dingeys try to enforce this predatory practice. Zip-line was OK, you're kinda like cattle herded to zip down a washing line it was so small. Been on bigger ones near my house in my home country. Food was good, can't knock that though it was going cold by the time of consumption. Travelling from hotel to destination took half the day, hardly any air con and the driver was driving like a nutter to the extent two passengers at least on the mini bus threw up. We had to wait at numerous sites whilst a few of the other passengers went off on different activities that others didn't pay for, so that wasted our day. Waterfall was pointless, you arrive and walk to the top, you get in for a swim then have to go back to the mini bus after 5 minutes as time was running out... Elephant show involved waiting for another 45 odd minutes for more passengers to complete their trek on the back of an elephant (which may sound all wonderous and lovely to some naive out there, but they're actually tortured and "broken" into being your Facebook story for the day, you're not at one with elephants for riding on their back, there's a process that they're put through to "domestic" them). Then we watched as a small elephant perform what seemed like a low budget, 1930's style circus show for us. Some delightful folk recorded it in glee for social media. For me, it was a stark reminder how vile the human race can be. Oh, and we did the monkey cave at the start which was nice. The monkeys were entertaining, but the cave temple just isn't worth it. Just another reason for the locals to fleece you for more cash. Conclusion... Find another company, this one sucked.

We had Khao Lak day trip operated by Sutin Group through Elizabeth Andaman Tours. I wantes to give MINUS 5 stars but it is not possible. Reasons below: 1. Terrible, very old Toyota Commutter with no shock absorber so that you can enjoy the bumps on the road better. Inadequate air conditioning. This tour is on land and the journey on the van takes 4 hours! The driver was also terrible, not taking care of any bumps but driving like crazy and not considering any traffic rule. 2. Very very rude tour guide. Actually you can say there was no quide. A Russian guy ( I have no problems with Russians), with an English not understable, led the tour in a very rude way. Besides he didnot give any information on anyting about anywhere except “this is animal preserve.” “This is waterfall.” “This is monkey cave. You can go inside but pay 20 thb to monks. You have 30 mins and will not wait for any moment more, sorry.” by looking to us although we were never late in any tour including this one. 3. Elephant trekking was in a very reserved poor place. Elephant bath was in a small dirty green pool, not in a river or so as per advertisement. There was no freshments, cake or anyting in elephant trekking stop despite what is written on the brochure. There was even no water to drink but there was a basket of bananas sold for 100 thb to feed elephants. 4. Waterfall was a small pond with water coming 2 m high. Nothing more. Good to cool down after a long trip. 5. The best part was bamboo canoing. Actually it could be better if it is the only activity. Bamboo rafting is something I strongly suggest. Unfortunately, it maybe only operated by Sutin Group. But you can arrange a transport directly to do that with a visit to monkey cave by taxi. Probably more enjoyable. 6. Local lunch was clear soup (with 8 slices of carrot, 6 celery slices, 16 leaves of celery), broiled potatoes with carrots, rice, mixed vegetables (carrots, celery, onions and pine apple), pine apple slices, water, tea/coffee. 7. Monkey cave was the second best thing about the tour but not given enough time to enjoy. 8. STAY AWAY FROM ANY TOUR OPERATED BY SUTIN. Arrange it by yourself with a taxi driver. Cannot be worse.

My fiance and I went on the 2-day Khao Sok Jungle Safari in November and we still rave about the experience. It was definitely one of the best parts of our 18 day Asian excursion thanks in no small part to Pradet (our tour guide). We loved every bit of the experience and he noticed so much in the jungle walk that we would not have otherwise noticed and on the drive back, he even spotted a king cobra! I highly recommend it!

PEOPLE! DON'T BOOK ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY! This tour should be called "Practical guide how to successfully rip tourist off" courtesy of Sutin Group. Because its a scam, rip off and con. I can't believe we got ourselves tricked into this trip. But it all thanks to Phuket SRC Travel who we bought it from (so don't get tricked by their good reviews cause they're only middle man). We overpaid by 400 baht each cause of that. I would give it a "zero" rating if there was such option. I must admit most interesting part of the day was watching local life and infrastructure as we were being driven from one spot to another, cause for about 8 hrs day out we spent 6 hrs in the minivan. It started quite well, because they picked us up on time and that's were positives end. Then it was only downhill. First stop was the monkey temple in phang nga where we were told we only have 30 min! Sightseeing the cave temple takes at least half hour itself! But anyway we did it the express tour of the cave, temple and monkeys and after that, the guide showed us to the shop owned by his sister in law to buy snacks and drinks... (thought those should be included in the price or at least you would think they provide bottled water but forget it) All the time we were hearing "quick, quick, hurry up". So, we went to see the elephants and it was heartbreaking experience as it wasn't sanctuary. It was just a like a campsite for elephant riding in the middle of nowhere. They took us down to the river, and the guide was shouting "quick, quick, get the bucket and put water on elephant, hurry up, take a selfie and let's go". We were constantly rushed around and herded like cattle just so the guide and driver can get tour finished and have the rest of the day off. Then we moved on to riding elephant which we refused to do. We didn't want to be part of it as you could clearly see those poor animals were mistreated. Next stop was "pineapple plantation". In other words we stopped by roadside for 2 minutes to be shown a single pineapple growing among the grass and weeds. Next was the "waterfall" which was just huge rocks with small pond at the bottom and thin stream of water trickling from above. Guide said water is low cause we still in dry season but then what's the point to stop there if there's nothing to see. And of course same repeated slogan, "quick, quick go make selfie and we have to go". Bamboo rafting was sort of ok - ish but again it was about 15 min long and that's it. Lunch was terrible but we at least got a bottle of water. Stop at turtle project was just looking at turtles swimming in concrete tanks and last stop was the shop with overpriced Thai herbs and balms. I couldn't believe that on the way back guide was advertising another tour and offered his private guidance services and obviously asked for tips for putting us through such dreadful experience. We wasted money, and what's more important we wasted a day of our holiday we never get back.

This elephant trekking and bamboo rafting all day safari exceeded all of our group of 8 expectations!!!!!! These memories are forever !! The absolute Best you can imagine. The day was delightful and full of wonders. bamboo rafting with rope swinging in the river was the bomb. beautiful. Elephant trek was life changing...magical. All animals were treated perfectly in my opinion. Our guide took 200 + pics of us while our elephant did his thing. I rode on his neck and my 75 yr mother rode on the bench seat. Our guide was 30-40 yards in font of us while trekking through rubber tree forest approx 45 mins. Super beautiful and cool as hell!! We fed our elephants all along the way and baskets of bananas at the end too. This was the most beautiful thing I've ever done by far. We bathed him too :) I'm so happy I didn't listen to the nay-sayers! Our group of 8 persons ranged from 22-75 yrs old. Everyone was absolutely thrilled!! Lunch was over the top good too! Fresh cooked, hot, tasty and something for every palette. Our guide Piyaya Petnual- Michael was over the top friendly, helpful, informative, and entertaining. He answered cultural questions all day long. He sang traditional local songs and taught them to us. His respect for the elephants, his faith, and his country was an inspiration to us all. We left glowing from this experience!!!! Once in a lifetime!!!!! Thank you, sincerely, Tangie Louisiana, USA
