Assume there was a typo and you meant 'safe' to take your camera? Definitely safe on the boat. I guess there is always a slight risk if taking it on the canoe simply because of the size of the canoe, getting in/out of it etc . The boys would be super careful. but you would run the risk (however small) of it getting wet .
We have booked one tour to Phi Phi with Phuket Sail tours which we did online, however not sure with John Gray's if we need to book prior to being in Phuket? Are prices the same if we book online or via an agent once we get there? We are travelling from 24th June to 7th July and are looking to do the Hongs by Starlight tour. Any suggestions would be great :-)

you better book John Grey's sea canoe prior online, and book tour to Phi Phi once you get there!
Is John Gray's Sea Canoe still in operation? (2 Replies)
I've tried to contact them 3 or 4 times over the past month. Both by sending an email and by submitting a trip request on the website. I haven't gotten a response besides an auto response that says we will contact you soon. I was hoping to do the Hongs by Starlight Tour in January.

Hello, I have contacted John Gray directly, I am sure he will get back to you shortly. I am not sure what happened. I do know that a lot of times our emails (Phuket Sail Tours) get sent to people's spam inbox (especially if you have a gmail account). My dad (Captain Mark) just said he saw John on the water only 5 days ago, and that all is good. All the best, Elise
