Very easy and successful trip. Boat captain and staff were very helpful and professional
Mr Lek, our guide, was informative, caring and helpful
The price was fair for us, especially having asked to charter the entire boat for just us two.

we booked "Full day tour Phang Nga Bay & James Bond island by speedboat" together with airport transfer with gembira tour phuket from patong area. They reply email promptly and fast to all our queries. The airport transfer were very smooth with their crew waiting for us with our name at the airport on time. however, the tour transfer to the pier were not as expected as they go around to few stops to pick up guest which make it longer time to reach the pier. The tour guide didn't even care to explain that he will be stopping at various place to pickup guest as we left wondering. Their speedboat were congested with people. Their lunch which is part of the tour were terrible. however, their tour crew were very attentive as they explain all the itinerary as we go along.

Our cruise stopped in Phuket for a day. We went ashore via tenders. Hadi, our guide,was holding a sign with our name on it when we got to the shore. He directed us to full-size van with A/C blowing cold. My wife and I were the only passengers so it was especially comfortable. We had the full attention of our driver as well as Hadi for the day.
We visited Phuket once before on a cruise so we wanted to customize the itinerary to not spend time visiting the same sites. Hadi helped us with that. We were very satisfied with the results. We saw beautiful beaches, interesting city sites, elephants and more. We also learned a lot about Thai history and people.
Hadi took us to a small local cafe-style restaurant for an included 4-course lunch that was made up of local Thai specialties. Three courses and rice were on the table when we arrived so no time was wasted. Hadi took special care to be sure my wife's allergy was considered in the choices. One of the courses was Tom Yum seafood soup. It is now our new favorite Thai dish.
At the end of the tour we were dropped off in front of the pier.
This was a very professional and efficient tour. I recommend it for anyone wanting to break-away from the normal ship-offered excursions or for non-cruisers wanting a good introduction to Phuket.

We had our trip to Phuket in early August 2013.
To be fair I will mention aboiut all of our activities with Gembira tour.
We book some activies with Gembira tour when we were in Phuket.
They picked us up at the airport on August 2. Eventhough our flight was late, but Gembira tour guide and driver wait for our arrival. They transferd us to our hotel smoothly.
On August 4 we had our Phi Phi tour through Gembira. The pick up time at the hotel was late for 20 minutes, but acceptable. The tour arrangement was great. The tour was also great. Everything was arrange very good.
On August 6 we had our Fantasea show tour. They mentioned that pick up time should be 17:30 (05:30 p.m.). We have been waiting in the lobby. However their pick up just came on 18:35. We wait more then one hour for the pick up !
On August 8 we had a tour to James Bond Island. One day before the tour, Gembira leave the message that the pick up time change from 7:45 to 8:45. On the day of the tour we have been waiting in the lobby since 08:45 a.m. Their pick up came to pick up us at 10:15 !!! We were so desperate waiting for the pick up. When the driver came, he mentioned that because other guests were very late and slow, then he need to wait them for so long. The driver mentione that we should complain to Gembira tour and that is not his responsibility.
We stayed at Novotel Phuket Resort. When we enter the van, we were very surprized since we saw two other guests who stay at Novotel in the van. At 8:45 we saw them also in the lobby ( they are from Bahrain). So what happened actually: on around 9 the driver has come to our Novotel, picked up the Bahrain guests. However he did not realized that he had some guests waiting in the lobby (we are 3 people). He then pick up other family from different hotel, then because we called the company several time, the company called him, then he realized that he missed some guests at Novotel. He came back to our hotel and pick up us at 10:15.
Then, he transfered us to the harbour. He just left us at the end of the bridge when other company could send their guests through the bridge. It happened because the driver need to go to the airport to pick up other guests.
As the result we need to walk through the bridge in hot weather.
Begore the cruise departure, the crews asked for apologize to all passenger (big boat), and mentioned the cruise late for one hour because that day is a holiday. However we know, that because Gembira pick up system make the big problem.
At the cruise, they provideed lunch. Our 3 year old daughter was hungry, and because the cruise was late, they allow us had lunch only after 14:40. My wife was complained since we saw that the cruise crews were having some noodle soup around 13 (1 pm) and only allow passengers having lunch after 14:40.
Our pick up to the airport on August 9 just late about 15 minutes from the appointment time. We could accept that.
We hope that Gembira tour could make teir service better, since they also have many guests from our country (Indonesia). Please do not have you guests wait for the pick up for more then one hour.

We booked Gembira tour to James Bond Island, Phi Phi Island and City Tour without return airport transfers.
From the initial email requesting for price quotation, Mr Phariot from Gembira Tour has been kind, accommodating and responsive to my queries. The same attributes can be found in Ms Maria who was our tour guide on the 2nd and 3rd day. She was helpful, patient and attentive to our needs and queries.
The driver Mr Packy speaks good English and takes very nice photos for us as well. The minibus we took is clean and well-kept. They are also very punctual to pick us up.The only thing which we were not too happy about is the Thai restaurant that they recommended on our first day. It is very expensive and overpriced.
The rates and charges of Gembira tours are reasonable and value for money.
We will definitely recommend Gembira Tour to our family and friends and will also engage their service again for our next Phuket trip.

This is our 4th trip to Phuket and our 3rd time engaging Gembira Tour for all our Phuket activities. During our recent trip, we engaged Gembira Tour for:
- Airport Transfer (2-way)
- Purchase of Fantasea tickets
- Purchase of Elephant Trekking tour
- Rental of vehicle with English speaking guide
From the initial email requesting for price quotation, Mr Aleeyas from Gembira Tour has been kind, accommodating and responsive to my queries. The same attributes can be found in Ms Maria who received us at the airport. She was helpful and attentive to our needs and queries.

Had a great day with the "James Bond Canoeing Tour by Speedboat". Prompt pick-up/drop off, beautiful sights, knowledgable crew (they've definitely done these tours a few times), and free water and fruit. We were given clear instructions stop by stop from Oaf, our main guide. I can't decide which was the best part: canoeing in the caves, visiting a remote beach, or the delicious lunch in the floating village. Make sure to get your camera ready; this is an adventure you'll want to share with friends and family.

Many things that I was received from this company. Tour guide is very friendly and proficient, she helps us anythings. But not only tour guide, the diver also skillful in English.
I joined the Phi Phi Islands tour by speedboat, it such a nice desination! Very beautiful there.
I really suggest everyone who wanna join the sea tour with this tour agency. They are professional, feel like I spend my money for the value things

We took a package from Gembira Tour for our team (9 persons) outing at Krabi. The package includes private van, airport transfer, island hopping full day with lunch, kayaking tour full day with lunch, private long tail boat and a very nice tour guide, named as Mr.Muhammad.
Upon arrival at Krabi airport, Mr.Muhammad was waiting with a sign-board on his hands. With a private van and driver, they fetched us straight to the hotel to drop our luggages. We had requested to have breakfast before go to the boat. It was a very delightful local breakfast.
The boat was waiting for us just a few minutes from the hotel. After reached to the beach, we had to walk to the boat as the water was too shallow due to low tide. Our pants were wet and I felt like want to swim already. They prepared us a private boat, which can load up to 20 passengers.
First stop was Chicken Island, which linked to two small islands by sandbank (only visible during low tide). We took a photo, swimming, snorkeling and relax. Then the boat sent us to the snorkeling spot and stopped there. After tired with snorkeling, we jumped back on the boat and moved to another island which they served us lunch. It was a very nice picnic. Last stop for our island tour was Railay beach. Spent 30 minutes there and we headed back to Ao Nang.
Second day was exciting. We went to Ao Thalane and get ready for Kayaking tour. This was the best experience ever! We were accompanied by a kid and he guided us to a few remote places around Ao Thalane. After kayaking for almost 3 hours, we had a private lunch at the restaurant nearby. Then, we went to swim at Phu Tara, crystal clear fresh water river. We ended our tour 30 minutes later.
It was an unforgetable experience. Thank you Mr.Muhammad and Gembira tour.

we done the Phi Phi cruise by speed boat and the 9 in 1 elephant tour both tour were amazing and worth every cent and the tour guides were great and spoke good english
