Another lackluster stop
Apr 2019 • Family
This was actually one of the better stops on our miserable NCL excursion. Oh sure, there wasn't much to learn aside from the fascinating art of roasting, preparing and purchasing cashew nuts, but at least you got what you paid for and it was brief. Plenty of tasty snacks for purchase here though!

Cashews
Jun 2019 • Couples
We visited as part of our shore excursion. Upon entering the building there are 2 women showing how the cashews are removed. There is an oil in the shell that is poisonous and that is why they have to wear gloves. There is only 1 cashew nut per fruit so that is why they are an expensive nut. Various flavoured cashew nuts (Sour cream/ onion, seaweed, chilli & salted) are on display for sampling, but they are in small plastic containers that you reach into, not the most hygienic way to sample. You can then purchase either in cans or sealed packets of 3. The prices are rather expensive. They also have various dried fruits, fish etc that can also be purchased.

Disappointing

Not much to see, hardly a tourist stop. Nuts on sale expensive and leave a lot to desire in the freshness area. save your time and money!

A real ripoff
May 2019 • Couples
This place is grossly overpriced and the cashew confections taste stale. High pressure sales people and commission for the tour guide. In all is is a waste of time and money.

Love the cashews, honey are top of the list with sesame seeds running a close 2nd. They also have soaps and a lot of others suveniors on display, but the cashews are the main drawing card. It's on my must do list whenever I'm in Phuket.

Lots of free samples

Great stop to by snacks! You could try almost everything beforehand. The cashews are a bit expensive ranging from 180-400 baht each. They also had dried fruit, fish, jerky, and comparably priced souvenirs.

Great variety of nuts
Feb 2019 • Couples
This is first and foremost a tourist stop. Prices weren't bad for trinkets but the minimum card spend of 500 baht was a bit of a drag when we only wanted one or two items from the gift shop. But this is easily overcome if you intend to buy a few tins of nuts. The actual prices for nuts were okay but not that different to what I would have paid back home. Which is weird considering the nuts are harvested right there.

Otherwise very informative, relatively efficient tills and great selection of nut tasting and flavours.
I observed customers tend to dig their hands into the taste pots of nuts so if you're grossed out easily, I wouldn't recommend tasting.
I'd say this was an all in all good experience as part of our guided tour

Tourist trap
Nov 2018 • Couples
It is a shop. Ok, you can taste the many different cashew nut varieties, everyone sticks their fingers in the pot to take the nuts, not very hygienic :-(
They sell the nuts very expensive.
Otherwise there is not much to see. A waste of time.

Mind your nuts
We visited here as part of an excursion. The ladies preparing the nuts were oblivious to the tourist around. There were lots of free samples of different flavoured cashews nuts. There was lots of opportunities the purchase packets of cashew nuts. All in all, a typical tourist type trip. Only worth doing if its free though.
