    Shooting range experience
Children wanted to try shooting. Chose the .22 Rifle to shoot with 10 bullets. They were excited to short the rifle and learnt that shooting is both fun and exhilarating. I recommend families to try the shooting range to try shooting.

    Had fun
Was something I have always wanted to do. I ended up shooting a glock 9mm which was a experience. The younger grandkids were shooting the bb guns that came with 400 beads which they loved. It is extremely well run with a big focus on training and safety.

    SAFE & professional shooting range
Safe & professional shooting range. We chose a range of guns to shoot from pistols, 45 calibre to rifle and clay. Overall a great experience. My instructor was helpful although I did feel I was rushed to get through my time slot. I would have liked a few more minutes to familiarise myself with the 45 to get a better result. My son is an experienced rifle shooter and enjoyed the range of weapons to choose from which he would normally not have access to via his club in Australia. My husband really enjoyed the clay shooting and the selection of pistols available. We also noted there was high levels of safety / security at this range and the instructors were experienced. We would highly recommend this range . Minimum shooter height is 135cm and there were a few young children being well guided by the instructors.

    GoKarting for the first time
Great experience. Go kart ran well. Decent track for a first timer, enough twists and turns to stay entertained for the 10/13min run through the track. Helmets and locker (for bags) provided. Bottle of water presented to you as you finish. Also offer to buy a picture of you for 500bhat each

    Fab!
Really enjoyed this. I’ve shot before, but my husband has not. We were asked which rifle or pistol we wanted to use. I went for a .22 rifle and my husband a colt .45 Great time. The time flew by, to be honest we should of paid for another round each, as it was a long way from where we were staying to go again. But you live and learn. 👍🏻👍🏻 From us

Terrible - Do not fund animal abuse
A rainy day in Phuket and free of any plans left us with the idea to head to Phuket Town for some sight seeing, on the way our driver suggested going on an elephant ride in hind sight obviously was scamming us trying to get commission from the business operators. We thought what the hell, when in Rome. Regrettable decision. We arrived at the complex which has the shooting range, go-carts and elephant 'trekking'. We paid an expensive $30 each and quickly ushered inpolietly to where the elephants were. I was feeling excited and giddy that I would see elephants, as soon as I saw them I welled up with sadness and regret. What we saw were numerous elephants chained together in small unkept quarters, scared from bullhook wounds. We were not given any opportunity to meet and greet the elephants, not even to see its face, we were ushered straight on and were off. I fought back tears and sadness the whole time. The elephant instructor sat on its head with his feet pressured behind its ears, he used a bullhook ( looks like a pick axe) and controlled the elephant by putting it deep into its ear canal, clearly causing it great discomfort and pain. The poor creature was clearly hungry as it was desperately trying to eat some food, to which the controller would not allow. We trudged through a filfthy yard, scattered with rubbish and debri everywhere then stopped and the controller turned around and offered us to buy ivory. Disgraceful. We naturally refused and took the elephant back to its pen. On the way what else should we see but a cockfight on the way. Once back at the pen we were quickly ushered off and sent to the 'gift' shop. I refuse to spend another dime at such a place, exploit animals with such negligence. They also had a young baby elephant, no more than 12 months chained up, and for a price you could see the poor thing do tricks. No thanks!! Very sad experience. DO NOT recommend.

    An Avid shooter doesn't approve
So I shot at the range. It was 1180 baht for 10 rounds target and pistol. I chose the 1911 platform because it was available in 45ACP. You're required to be seated during the firing portion. You're given ear and eye protection. Thankfully I was able to load my own magazine because I told the guy I'm an American and handle more guns and own more guns then what you have available to rent. The cost to me wasn't worth it. What I paid would normally net me anywhere from half an hour to an hour of range time in the states. I will say this though to anyone from Australia or England you should check it out. Any Americans will get a better set up back home. Lastly the weapon wasn't well maintained. It was loose and not well lubricated. But I'm nitpicking. Not my guns not my problem.

The worst range in Thailand, ever
I have been traveling to Thailand since 1995 and am quite used to their shooting ranges. I must say that those in Phuket are not really professionals, but the Phuket Shooting range is probably the worst I've seen. Been a trained gun marksman, I am particularly uncomfortable when guys with guns try to move you around like a tourist. I probably did more safety drills and fired more shots than all the so-called instructors all together, so when the "instructors" asked me to seat for shooting or told me to clear my gun that way and not do this or that, i told myself "OMG,what a tourist trap!". Spent ~9K THB (wanted to show my nephew how to properly shoot) and wished I could have refunded the rounds. I will never set a foot near this lousy, un-polite place again. A traumatic experience. So, if you have experience with guns: don't go there, it's a waste of your money and good vibes. If you are a newbie, don't go there as well. They won't teach you anything. Better try the range in BKK. Been there couple of times. Hosted in a military base and supervised by an old champion. They are good, safe, friendly and you can dry drill and shoot without anyone breathing down your neck. And if you don't have time to properly do a dry drill, you will never know how to shoot properly. Phuket Shooting range? An expensive trap for tourists who don't know better. Stay away!!

    Rude and unprofessional instructor
The whole 1st time shooting experience turns bad when i got the rude and unprofessional instructor. It was my first time shooting with .45 caliber, and it should be an enjoyable and memorable experience for me. Thanks to the rude instructor my .45 caliber shooting experience turns into an awful one. The instructor keep slapping and hitting my hand whenever i made a small mistake such as holding the gun wrongly. It was just a wrongly placement of my thumb, just a small mistake. It is not like i was doing something unsafe like pointing the gun to people. There was one time when the insructor told me to pull the triger without putting in the magazine. I wasnt aware that he didnt put the magazine in. After i pulled the triger, my hand was hardly hit by the instructor saying that the magazine was not put in. It seems like he enjoying slapping and hitting people’s hand. After i have finished my 10 bullets, i stayed there to see how the instructor treat the next guy. The next guy also shared the same as me. Judging from that, i can conclude that the instructor is not fit to be in the business. He may have a good knowledge about firearms but he doesnt have what it takes to be an instructor, what more to say to be the instructor who deals with tourists from all over the world. I hope the management of phuket shooting range will take some action to the instuctor for improvement. The rude instructor is in the picture attached.

I'm sure there is lots of shooting ranges in Thailand, and I'm sure there are a lot of crazy weapons that can be fired off for a price, however I'm not sure of the safety level of those places.

This place is legit, it offers a range of exciting weapons that can be enjoyed in a safe environment under the supervision of trained staff.

I chose to fire 10 rounds with a Colt .45 and 10 shells in a pump action shotgun, I'll mention now this was the fire time I've fired a pistol but I have previously fired a shotgun. First off I fired the Colt .45 and I'm not sure if the first shot even registered on the target, the recoil was far more intense than I had expected from a handgun so I was quite surprised. Once I got the hang of it, it was awesome, I loved the feel of firing off some bullets and the adrenalin that started flowing, I think I did quite well for my first attempt.

Ok so now it was time for the shotgun, I've always loved shotguns so it was a hell of a lot of fun, the staff member showed me how to load the shells then let me load it up myself. this time instead of the target they had cardboard cutouts of people and other bits and pieces to aim at and I took down all of them except one, which I was pretty happy with.

Overall it was awesome fun, you do feel like you're in a movie when you fire a shell, pump the gun and the empty cartridge comes flying out the side, I'm pretty sure I'll now be able to handle myself in the event of a zombie apocalypse.

I’ve been shooting at a lot of places. Reviews for this particular place weren’t the same with what I’ve been through. Very terrible service. Staffs was rushing you to shoot and finish up the bullets so they can attend to next customer. Had argument with one of the staff because he was so RUDE to us. Overall terrible experience and PLS FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO SHOOT THAT IS WORTH YOUR MONEY!

This is a good option for people who have never fired a real gun with real ammo. However, if you have already done it especially in USA or other western country, you may be disappointed.

Gun and Ammo selection is very limited, the shooting range is semi-outdoor with no soundproofing / isolation. You will start hearing loud bangs as you enter and once inside its uncomfortable to stand without ear muffs, which they have plenty and offer to anyone entering.
