Nice orchids; expensive admittance

This is a nice little farm. Orchid lovers will enjoy it. However, 400 Baht per oerson (a bit over $10 USD) is steep compared to local prices.

Many orchids of different quality, but the admission price of 400 baht is a theft. And the prices that they ask if you want to buy some orchids are crazy ! Much better to enter in anyone of the many shops that sell orchids around the island.

Unless you are a real enthusiast of orchids, don't bother. 400 baht for walking up and down rows of flowers is pretty steep. I like orchids but not that much. Just be forwarned.

I spent many hours here,to see the plants growing in the air with the roots dangling is fascinating, but a great photo oportunity.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stop at the farm. It is a real working farm and a treat for Orchid lovers. It is a bit over priced, but again -we are glad we stopped here on our tour of the island.

If you love and appreciate orchids this is a wonderful place to visit. It is a farm not botanical gardens or nursery so the plants are kept in the best condition for them not for tourists wanting pretty flowers. There are thousands of plants and the quality is exceptional with some extremely unusual colours in some varieties. You can wander... More

I mainly went there couse I was looking to buy an orchid for my garden and lost myself inside that heaven for hours! The orchids are all magnificent and well taken care of. The place is a bit under mantainance but it is not a problem you go to see orchids and youll see plenty! If youre looking to buy... More

Our taxi driver brought us there by accident. We wanted to visit the Orchid Garden and Thai Village, but in the end we ended up here. It was a bit expensive (400 Bath) for what was offered. It was just an orchid farm. Nothing really special. I liked the birds everywhere, they were kind of cool, but the rest was... More

My friends and I took a trip to the Phuket Orchid Farm. We were reliably informed that it was 40 minutes from our hotel in Kata Noi. Someone else said 20 minutes. It only took 10 minutes.- 400 baht. Our driver was happy to wait. The entrance fee was 400 baht $16 AUS. As the lady told us it is... More

Maybe our expectations were too high, but we thought there would be at least a short explanation of the different varieties of orchids, possibly a history of the flower, instructions for growing them, even a history of the company could've been interesting. We just walked in, paid 400 baht and walked around looking at the orchids. I will say that... More
