    Great local experience
Located next to a shopping mall near the Old Town. A great way to grab a bite on a budget. They not only offer a wide variety of multi-ethnic food but also souvenirs for quite a bargain. Some stalls sell fresh seafood but I would advise caution when ordering them, as they may have flies on them.

    Best markets in Phuket
We managed to walk over 10000 steps just at these markets. The stalls are endless, the stall holders delightful and not pushy at all. There are endless food choices, all freshly cooked, and tasteful entertainment throughout. We could have stayed for hours, but my feet just couldn't walk any further. It is a bit of a taxi ride from Patong Bay, but sooo worth it.

    Lotta fun
One great big market with loads of great food and shopping. The market is only open Saturdays and Sundays. On Fridays it is only partially open, so remember if you want to have access to the whole market, you need to visit on Saturday or Sunday.

Best of both worlds - retail and food ...get here asap !
Wow that was an experience ! This market has so much going on and is huge. The retail offering is absolutely massive, and the food range from the food section is also huge. I did at least 4 laps if the food stalls trying to decide what to get as the choice is endless. Bought a nice shirt for a mere 250 baht and tried a seafood noodle dish which was interesting and new to me. Make sure you get to this market, far bigger than Chillva which has mostly new stuff. This market has a heap of new retail such as nags etc, as well as the smaller items you expect to find at markets.

Little too busy and samey with stalls
We arrived around 5pm to avoid crowd's. The aisles are narrow and we made the correct decision not to bring the parm along with us for that reason. The stalls sell fairly similar things, clothes and trinkets. The food area looked good but was so busy that we decided against it.

    A must visit
A must do if you are in Phuket. Lots of varied stalls and entertainment. Very narrow walkways between stalls and great busy atmosphere. A huge range of food stalls including fried insects! If you fancy some!

Huge markets with street food and stalls and also shops. Everything is able to be bargained, great food and great atmosphere in the evening with all the lights and tents hanging obout. Would highly recommend for a great Sunday night :) whole street closes and you walk up and down and spend a few hours lost in the fairs

Not worth going there unless you like some cheap fake stuff with low quality.
We were looking for some authentic souvenirs. But this place is definitely not the one where you find such stuff. The food was ok but not easy to eat since it is too crowded.

On Friday we went to Bang Tao market in Cherngtalay which is in Pasak Koktanod road close to Boat avenue/villa supermarket. This one was really nice with interesting handmade staff. Didn’t eat since we ate already before, but the food looked really good and clean compared to other street food.

Definitely be sure to check this out while you're in Phuket Town. We went on Sunday night and really enjoyed the scenes, smells, and vibes. Plenty for everyone to do, including shopping, listening to live music, painting activities for kids, and of course, the food. There's cheap eats, but also mid-price, and high-end options for salmon, steak, etc.

A great feast for all senses! Lots of great local foods for everyone! Seafood, meats, vegan, and halal offerings! Live music and hundreds and vendors with low pressure haggling, lol! Worth the trip to Phuket town anyway!

You have to visit this place if you happened to be in Phuket on a Sunday. The place is vibrant and fun. Go on a empty stomach and forget about looking for a restaurant. Try out the roadside food. They are clean and delicious. Lots of stuff to buy for everyone at cheap prices.

Not a fan of night market but this still makes a night evening walk. We came here with a full stomach so didn’t get to try much food. Advice:- best to come here for a walkabout dinner on the go. More artistry stuff here than Naka night market.
