We found the bar and my husband was worried the wrong AFL match was being played. We were quickly shown the alternative tv - then another group were shown the “rugby” tv! My daughter and I crossed the road to get a manicure and massage whilst my husband enjoyed an iced cold beer watching North crush St Kilda in cold, dark Hobart!

Went to watch footy , had to say was a touch disappointed , staff seemed more interested in their phone , had to make some noise for service

We first visited Karon Aussie Bar in 2014 on the recommendation of friends and popped in again this year to rekindle some great memories. What a stunning vibe! For a rock music lover like me this was the perfect place to relax and sing along to classic hits. The band is awesome and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Keith the owner is a permanent fixture and remembered us from our previous visit. Highly recommended.

Kenny the owner is a grub. He has ripped off everyone that goes near this establishment over the last 5 years. People there are far better places in Karon then this so called Australian Bar. Take your money an give it to the local establishments they will be a lot more great full then Kenny will ever be. The so called king of Karon. He’s a joke. If you find yourself in here. Make dam sure you pay for your drinks as you go. An make sure you check with the waitresses the money you hand over is correct as Kenny has them trained to rip you off.

If you end up in Karon on your holiday be extremely careful of this bar an your drink bills. The girls just seem to add what they want on your bill it's been happening for many months an the owner has been spoken to by many friends an locals about this an just keeps allowing it to continue. 6beers may cost you 1900thb so be aware everyone. An if u find it a must to stop an have a drink be sure to pay drink for drink never run a bill. There are many great bars in Karon to choose from with great honest Thai people running them. This is a shame for an Australian owned bar. An the owner should be listening to the complaints from his patrons because it's not just one or two. Very poorly run bar.

i am very sorry and to see this type of reveiw this is from adam rowland who we banned from our establishment for being a bully and treating my staff very badly i hope one day you can take responsibilities for the out come of your actions

I've been a regular at Kenny's Aussie Bar or other known as Karon Aussie Bar. I've done many trips to Karon and when there it's my local. The owner, Keith Kenny is an amazing bloke from Brisbane, Australia. The massive bar with plenty of room is located in One Man Soi which is just off Patak Rd approximately 250m up from the roundabout opposite 7/11.
The bar has nightly entertainment with a great live band and girls tastefully dressed dancing upstairs.
Free pool table, reasonable priced drinks and all the staff speak good English.
In the Soi, there 6 different bars, restaurant, tailor and a tattoo parlour that I have had pieces done at.
I can't say a bad word at all about Kenny or his bar. Always there for a chat about anything and will always give advice if you're not familiar with Phuket. Can't wait to get back to where it makes you feel at home only with a hell of a lot of fun involved.

We had a couple nights here which was so much fun ,with great live music.The staff where attentive and extremally friendly and I felt safe enough to walk back to my resort by my self.thanks guys for making it fun.

Otherwise known as "Karon Aussie" or "Kenny's Bar" - this place is a local institution. We spent 2 weeks in Karon and popped in here daily for a couple while on our walkabouts. If it's meeting nice new people, a cold beer and the occasional game of sport on TV to shelter from the heat you like, then this is the place. They also have a very large back room where there are nightly live bands. The owner, Kenny is a fabulous welcoming character. We were lucky enough to be invited to his birthday party while we were out there with a massive BBQ and plenty of free beer. The event was the talk of the town. If you're ever in Karon, pop in here I can highly recommend it. One evening Kenny ever drove us home on his moped, how's that for service?!?!

Just popped in for a quick drink and a bite to eat. Meet another kiwi couple on the bus who told us about this place, so thought we'd take a look. It was nice and felt like home to sit and have a chat with some other kiwis. As they dont serve food the owner got the restaurant across from them to pop over with some menus and then they delivered the food to us at the Kiwi house. In a place full of Aussie bars and Russian owned eateries it was nice to find a slice of home.
