The Walkabout Sports Bar is a friendly & lively family orientated bar showing the maximum amount of weekly sports we can on our 9 Screens which includes an 80 inch main screen. Please see the weekly updated TV Guide on the website or Facebook page for details of available fixtures. If there is something you wish to watch, please ask our staff and they will try their best to show it for you. With as good selection of bottled drinks and draught Beer on tap, we try to cater for all our customers needs. We provide free 50MB Wi-Fi to our customers; just ask the staff for the current password. Try Walkabout Pizzas on a Wednesday and Saturday Nights. So go on a Walk About to Walkabout Sports Bar and enjoy good music, Cold Beer and Live Sports! Excellent bar with lots of televisions showing all sports. All premier league games shown live. Pool table good. Service excellent. Mel and Flob a credit to you for making this bar so good. All staff lovely and friendly.

Really nice sports bar, popped in for lunch and a few beers. Staff friendly and efficient, nice burger and fries maybe the food outsourced to the restaurant next door but really good. Cold beers and everything a good sports bar should have.

A warm and friendly welcome every time we visited this bar, the staff are so kind and attentive, nice cold pint of Guinness available plus the cocktails are delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

No better place in Karon to sit and have a few quiet beers in front of continuous sport. 8 screens all showing sport including live AFL, NRL, EPL and anything else on at the time. The staff are fantastic, the beer is cold and the pub menu fits the place perfectly. Well worth a couple of hours for an afternoon beer or two before dinner.

Great sports bar and restaurant. All the sport on big screens live. Cold beer, strong cocktails and filling burgers. Makes for good afternoon watching the footy.

Walkabout is unique in that it is an Aussie sports bar owned by an Englishman!!! The lack of tourists did not dampen the bars enthusiasm for sports & music... no less that 9 big screen tv's, including an impressive 75" main screen, are constantly showing a variety of live sports including Premier league football, cricket, rugby and F1.. and when they are not showing sports there is a wide variety of music on offer...
Flob and his ever present better half, Meao, are always on hand... and the service they offer is both personal, friendly and professional..
The beer is cold and the burgers are the beat in town... !!
So if you are staying in Karon make this place a regular spot or if you are just passing though town be sure to stop buy to sample the burgers..

Visited last nite march 6th good screens for sport and veryfriendly staff will be calling again the bar is off patak road butright in the heart of karon

Was here in November of 2019. One of our party had gone down earlier to see if they were showing the Rangers game, he told the owner that about 10 would be coming down to watch it and could he stay open later. Even after only 3 of us turned up (the rest were bedridden with hangovers) Dave still kept the place open, even though we were the only ones and gave us the best TV in the house to watch the game. Thank you Dave, you're a gent and run a great bar that ticks all the boxes for a place to chill, sip a cold one and watch a game- the rest of the staff were friendly and looked after us as well. Toilets are immaculate, can't say that about many other bars in the area.

We were looking for a place to watch the Rugby World Cup and came across this bar.
They had a number of different sports playing on different tvs. The service was great, and the beers were cold!
