The beach was a bit better than the Kata beach. It has less disturbing salesman walking through the chairs selling this/that. The north part is also separated from jetskis and boats. It's easily found when you walk down the stairs from the hill. We said...More

This was our first time in Phuket, and we decided to go to some of the beaches while the sun was shining. Although the sea is a beautiful blue, and the sand fine and lovely to walk on, the amount of rubbish on the beach...More

We have stayed at the Katathani Hotel on this beach before. We returned to see if it was still as nice and it is. There are cafes and shops accessible from the beach between the hotels via a path about 75 metres long. The beach...More

My girlfriend is a big beach fan and I'm not too fussed. (Sand everywhere afterwards always annoys me). Anyway, we went here instead of Karon or the patong and it was so much nicer. A smaller beach with plenty of cheap (100baht) lounges to hire....More

Kata Noi is my preference over Kata Beach, both stunning however I find Kata Noi much more beautiful, the water is clear and the beach cleaner. Just be careful to swim here in the monsoon season as the rips are stronger than some of the...More

This was definitely a very nice beach. I actually visited 5 beaches on my beach hopping tour. I have to say Kata was by far the best beach. The sand was super soft and the water was like a swimming pool. So clear. Nothing polluting...More

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle then choose this beach over Patong (which is not very far away). This is a great beach. Good to stroll along the beach or rest for a couple of hours on the beach. Relatively...More

Amongst all the beaches of Phuket, Kata Noi was by far the most beautiful one to swim in. It's a bit far ahead from Kata beach, and the water is infinitely clearer. The way to go in is through the private villa of Mom Tri's...More

It's still a fantastic beach, but unfortunately, it's becoming much more filthy each year. What a shame is that such a beautiful place packed with so much rubbish. When you swim here, you can find everything from plastic bags to ropes and other junk. Used...More

Kata Noi beach is one of my favourites in the whole of Phuket due to the fact it is not that well known. There is a tidy swell here so be careful if you're not that good a swimmer even though there are lifeguards.

Yes agree with other reply. Taxi tuk tuk is the best bet. Negotiate a fair price. 500baht is standard fare. Beautiful beach, worth the visit, but not to sure during monsoon season.
