I've not been to this park for many years and went this weekend for the running festival.
It's a bit expensive for parking but the park itself is lovely, we landed in a nice crisp day and it was lovely to run / walk round....More

At £5 to park your car it’s quite expensive unless you’re going to make a whole day of it. The park is pretty and lots of the area around the lake is away from the road so it’s good for dog walking.

Most people grab a few rocks from the waters edge to place underneath and stop the grass scorching. If you're taking good fire safety precautions, I'm sure you'll be welcome. They do have signs saying no open fires allowed. Hope that helps.
